OK Ive smoke a CRAP-TON of {edit} cigarettes (pack every 2 days) in the past 11 years of my life and I have NEVER felt this kind of pain before from inhaling something. So basically Ive been vaping for about 2 months now with no major problems other then intense stomache aches and massive ........... but I think I became immune to that over time...and then recently I took a 3 day break from vaping due to staying with family then returned yesterday to full-on vaping..

THEE sharpest, deepest pain ive ever had in my lungs. Hurts to take a deep breath. Feels like I did some damage..

I drip into a 306 atty and burn at about 4v. Nothing major but 306's DO burn pretty hot and put out alot of heavy harsh vapor.. Even then, why would it hurt THIS bad just from a 306? It shouldnt even come close to hurting.. its friggin vapor!

Is it the heat of the vapor? The nicotine amount (18mg)? the metal from the atty? The excsessiveness of my vaping?

I take pretty normal puffs. About 2 seconds long, about every 15 seconds..then of course I take breaks for whatever reason.. When im on the computer im basically constantly vaping..

Im pretty upset with vaping.. it shouldn't be damaging my lungs ESPECIALLY after the kind of beating ive given them from massive amounts of {edit} consumption in every way possible...{edit}...and I havent smoked {edit} cigs in a few months now..

Something is wrong with vaping and I dont like it. I wish there wasnt because I have my Protank being mailed to me right now and I totally enjoy vaping in every way.

Maybe I just gotta slow down when im on the computer...but seriously guys, this cant be good, ive never had my lungs hurt like this before... Im actually thinking of stopping vaping... who woulda thought something like water vapor would damage my lungs like this... I honestly think there hasnt been enough research done on long-term affects of vaping.. What if its worst then cigarettes?!!?!

Also, do you know what resistance your atty is? If it is low, and you're vaping at 4 volts, you might actually be burning the juice, which would not be good.

Sounds like a bad case of burnt juice. Happens to me once in a while, as I'm a habitual direct lung smoker.....and when I switch to my vivi's I can't be doing this, but yeah, catch myself slipping sometimes, and it hurts pretty bad.

1st, I have to say see a doctor. The doctor will likely say if the ecig is causing you pain to stop.
If it were me I would stop vaping whatever is causing the pain and try to figure out the root cause. I would get a disposable ecig to see if it is vaping causing the pain or something else. I would try a juice with 100% VG and a juice with 100% PG to see if I'm having a reaction to one or the other. I would lower the voltage or raise the ohms I'm smoking at. I would also try a new atomizer. Most people suggest vaping between 6 and 9 watts, the calculation is pretty simple: (Voltage * Voltage)/resistance (ohms) = Watts. If your above 9 watts then you could be burning the juice.

I'd have to agree with others that have said ... consult a physician. That said, I doubt highly it's an inherent issue with vaping. I'd wager there are many individuals on these forums with similar histories as yourself (and probably considerably worse as far as abuse goes ) who have not experienced the type of pain you are describing. For that reason, I'd rule out any underlying health issues first, just to be on the safe side.

Best of luck to you, I hope it turns out okay.

Definitely see a Doctor. Could be serious and may not be e-cig related, but exaggerated by Vaping.

1 year ago I was having SEVERE Upper abdominal pains and extreme difficulty breathing when the attacks hit. Finally doubled over and collapsed at work. ER Diagnosed possible Gaul stone blockage and sent me to a Surgical specialist.
Specialist Ran a few test and scheduled me for Exploratory Surgery of my digestive system.
He found and corrected, through 2 Surgeries, I had a collapsed/damaged esophagus due to Acid reflux. I swear I have NEVER suffered Heart Burn.

I repeat - SEE a Doctor
