Why are there so many hipster/douche types in the vape community?

I get irritated when someone tells me I can't vape inside because it bothers them and no other reason...does this make me steam hipster duche? All I do is answer peoples questions in as few words as possible and even though I'm over six feet tall and 230 pounds I use a mini ego with a mini T3s tank as often as possible and tuck my lanyard inside my shirt so it wont catch on anything or catch anyone's attention....does that make me steam hipster duche vaping guy?
Or does this post make me "steam hipster duche vaping guy"? Cause the more times I say it in my head the more I think it sounds kinda catchy...I mean that could be a super hero for the masses... "Steam Hipster duche vaping guy....the super hero for the anti-smoking yuppie masses!" Or maybe this guy was trying to comment not so nicely on my friends at the Steam Punk Vaping Lounge down in Tacoma, although being in Tokyo I'd just be impressed if he came all the way just for that....ok ok..

I am sorry I just agree with Panth and had didn't know how else to show what I mean...although I don't understand the demeanor that came with the comment, I understand the conjuncture...tis reminds me of when I got into pistol modding awhile back. There are a few hardcore gun nuts that would want to smack me on the back of the head just for calling it "pistol modding." The guys that look like the lost relatives of the Duck Dynasty crew that drop 10 grand at the pawn shop they hang out at every day till closing like it is cheers and heckle the guy coming in who knows very little about guns that wants to buy something for home protection but is kinda intimidated to ask a question until spoken too then doesn't understand why he gets ignored for an hour till he gets fed up and leaves.
Drop the word "pistol" and you get my first experience walking into a large B&M store in Lakewood Washington that shall remain nameless. I knew a little more than I wanted to admit but not enough to hold a conversation with the real "hardcore vapors" but I asked a couple "safe" questions I knew the answer too, ended spending 5 bucks i think on 2 replacement protank bases instead of the money I was going to drop on batteries and tanks and went home and ordered them online for way less. I am ambivalent and long winded about this thought because I am on both sides of it...although the initial post made me laugh and was a little irritating to read it also made me think of my first trip to that shop and being ignored and looked over and then down at. The kid with the chunks of metal hanging out of his face behind the counter was poster "hipster steam punk"ish IMHO.
So yes, "so young...so angry..." but w/out a little more to go on he could either be me .....ing about the guy behind the counter or the guy behind the counter .....ing about the guy behind the counter that knew more...I guess we will never know?

Douche usually refers to vaginal irrigation, the rinsing of the vagina.

Okay, thanks for calling me young. That hasn't happened for awhile. Can't help that my cloths are vintage, I prefer the term well preserved or classic. And I listen to classic Rock-N-Roll not alternative, but I am more than willing to let that slide.
Well thanks for the compliments, you seem like a highly intuitive person, and probably well liked. But you grasp of the English language seems to be a bit off. May want to brush up on that before posting again. People might get the wrong idea, and not be as thorough as I, to make sure to find the exact definitions that you were using. Understandable.

Duche in German means "shower" after living in Switzerland for several months last year when I thought of the term "douche bag" I'd hear it in German in my head as "douche beutal" and being called a "shower bag," well even though it makes me giggle, hardly feels any more insulting than the word "dork" or any other kindergarten level complement and the word by it's self just makes me laugh because it seems like more often than not these days the ones I hear using it are using the one's that need a shower more than me...again making me giggle uncontrollably at them and they don't know why...maybe just my warped sense of humor but food for thought...

Not sure I can relate to the OP but there are many I come in contact with here at ECF that I can't imagine ever smoked a cigarette in their life.....more like cigar aficionados or something of the kind.....personally I was what I would call a blue collar smoker....lol
