I was with you until the last section. It needs an edit - 'then figuring out amazing medicine for the benefit of all mankind that can afford it' would be more apt...

I'd agree with you but American's fund most of the medicine development world wide. We pay more for medicines made in our country than other countries do. That's why so many people from the US go to Canada and Mexico to buy medicines made in the USA! But you are correct, if you can't afford it and you live here, you're screwed. That's how schizophrenic we are in this country!

Just to get back to this rebel America thing.

Isn't this whole cloud chasing stuff coming from Thailand? I really don't know but it always seemed to me that the American vape community seems to follow their style rather than us (Americans) actually inventing this cloud chase stuff.

That's what makes us Americans. We throw money at it, then take credit for it. And don't forget that danged trophy we are owed

for everything

Man we need to go to the publican in Chicago and I need to buy you a few beers for the laugh I just had. Hilarious man just hilarious

You can bash on the Olive Garden. Most people bash on Olive Garden while in Olive Garden! Olive Garden loves to advertise their authentic italian cuisine. No one goes to Olive Garden for their pasta. Their appeal can be summed up in four little words: Unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks. It's good soup, better salad and great breadsticks. Take your entree to go and give it to the homeless on the way home after you've filled up on soup, salad and breadsticks.

But people in Europe have all the sub ohm stuff to their disposal as well but they are, for the most part not using it. Whenever we get something new on the US market Europe can buy it too but no one does.

@DC good point on the Filipinos in LA

Simply put, you push the limits and it pushes innovation foward. Thats true for everything from civilian land to the military sector. America just happens to be on the forefront of the push this time. With all of its pros and cons.

And look at the cultures. Americans have always pushed the limits on pretty much everything. Europe not so much, especially in the more recent history. Didn't know about the Philippines stuff though, so learned something new and changes the perspective of the discussion a bit.

Very true Heldar. But ya, that was one of my questions it seems like this cloud chasing comes all from the Philippines but figured someone knows more about it than I'll ever do.

Several pages deep but I'll reply anyway.

Economics. Even our poor have cable, multiple TVs and enough food to be fat. We are so individually wealthy compared to other countries. What we can't afford we have credit cards.

We buy the best we can and in excess because we can. We are a competitive culture by nature and can make the slliest things into a competition. So naturally we will have excessive vape gear and some will enjoy "competing" in about the only visual way with vaping.

American people who have never been abroad have no idea how good we have it here, financially at least.

No, just people like you that start threads like this. If you have lived in the US and Europe, you are aware of the differences in culture. Which makes this thread a troll.

So it's arrogant of me to ask a question on why people in the states go crazy about sub ohming and europe doesn't?

Also, as said before, I'm from Germany which in your world seems to be the same as Italy France England Sweden ukraine russia Austria Poland etc but sadly my culture is different to the other -50- countries in Europe.

Not sure why you try to attack me for asking a simple none judging question but I am glad we had this awesome discussion.

It seems the question assumes a vast generalization: Nobody in Europe cloud chases (there must be some), and an abnormal number of vapers in America are cloud chasing (many do not). After reading European news for a few years, it does seem to me that there's a European pastime of analyzing faults with American culture.
