Mookie, I hear ya: I'm 54 and it is definitely harder to meet new people and get established after a major move! Besides work, I do volunteer and dog stuff which for me has been a great way to make more friends. But still, my "good friend" list in my 2os was in the dozens (as in someone who will help you move at a moments notice - or more importantly, move the body, ha ha) and my "good friend" list now is...well maybe a dozen at most.

So boring...and so awful sometimes. I promoted for clubs when I was in CA (along with my regular job) and I would go out Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. It was so much fun and I am a very social person. Here in Michigan I'm seriously a, "fish out of water." Sorry for griping! I try not to do much of it but sometimes I have to get it out.

Sometimes I feel that same way about friends and I haven't even moved. As we age and go through various stages of life friends come and go. It seems that the older I get that harder it is to meet new people with common interests. Probably because there is less free time and not in the situations to meet lots of people much anymore.

I've heard it said that as people age (I'm 50 btw) people either grow more closed minded and opinionated or they grow more easy going and open-minded. Unfortunately I find most people go to the 1st choice whereas I have gone the other route.

Someday it will be mine. I don't have the funds to cover it right now. Isn't it beautiful? I just love it.

I understand what you're talking about. Some people get married, get into a relationship, have kids, and stop having time to share with friends. My one girl friend in Michigan started doing that last April. We were connected at the hip and then it felt like I lost a huge part of my life.

I'm glad you have gone the second route. I think that good things will happen to people who remain open minded.

So I'm really curious...what is everyone vaping on? A really good person is letting me borrow their REO because I sold mine in the classies. I'm waiting to get the REO VV Grand. It goes on sale next week. I hope it's easier than the VV Woodville sale. That sounded like a nightmare. I also purchased a Buzz Pro off the classies as a back up but it's at the doctor getting fixed

After I'd gotten my kit, I fooled around with it for awhile, vaped, watched Game of Thrones from last night, and finally went Zzzz. Slept great actually...didn't wake up coughing so that's good.

I woke up and remembered the shiny new PV, so haven't I smoked yet either.
I'm going to test just not doing the RYO and see how I feel with only the PV. But, I have a month until I have to stop smoking in my Apt., so I'm not too worried if I do decide I want a RYO. Main thing is variety as I usually mix different ways for my RYO, and for now I only have the one flavor for the PV. Of course, that'll change in a few days when I get my juices.

All things considered, I'm pretty happy with how things are going.

I so want to get a Woodville!

I'm currently using a Lea Kross with a Lea 800 atty, which I love for dripping- I just ordered another one for back-up, but I have been jonesing for a REO for a while now, it sounds perfect for taking out and about, and they look so well made.

How are the vape meets in Tokyo?

Here in the US, local meetups are happening all the time. Then, at regular intervals, there are "bashes" and "fests" where a lot more of us get together! It is growing and it is a wonderful thing! I have been to "out of town" meets and I was greeted as if I lived there my whole life! I would do nothing less for anyone from out of town that decided to join a local meet in my area! Wow! That's lot of exclamation marks. Must mean I really like meetups.

Seriously though, the amount of positive energy that is exchanged is amazing and the odd bickering we may see on the board simply pales in comparison. We have far more things in common than not.

None. We are so few and all very far apart. Different cities FAR apart. I am the only one here on the ECF in Tokyo, that I know of.
Oh and the reason I said that was because I just got a pic in my head of a bunch of cartoons, dogs and cats and faeries and angels, sexy girls with a dragon tattoo, luscious lips and half naked beautiful nimphs, seductive winking beauties. Sculls, motor cycles and corpses on IV coffee treatments...

But in real life most of us NOTHING at all what we pretend to be in our online life. I think, old, overweight, lonely, sad, friendless etc. etc. is probably more the norm... Of course there are mostly normal and well adjusted people here too... Just a thought that crossed my mind unbidden.

But it is a bit creepy when I really think about it.

The coughing/phlemy crap on waking is from smoking for 25yrs....not the vaping. I've already noticed that since starting vaping, I'm coughing up more gunk as the lungs start to get better. Long ways to go however. I normally drink a lot of water a day, so that isn't a factor.

Using my shiny E-Power 14650 w/ 1.7v Resurrector cartos in SS with 15/85 24mg CCV B&M juice for now. I have tons of juices coming in the next couple days though, so I'm all good.

Only had a couple of small handrolls since Monday, instead of an ounce of 'baccy a day. So, I think that's pretty damn good for starting.
