Why did you want to quit smoking ?

Would have to admit it was primarily financially driven. Prefer to spend money on other things, but enjoy the act of smoking. Addicted to nicotine so the alternative of vapor intrigued me. Started with 18 mg strength and intend on decreasing, but haven't set a timetable. I am REALLY enjoying vaping. Still trying different flavors and delivery systems. Grateful for the vast amount of info out there and the ability to get information from others out there. Joined ecig forum to share my experiences in this transitional period of my life.

Cost, the taste (I disliked the taste of tobacco - but hey I was addicted), also being conscious that I would reek of smoke. Also it wasn't doing my health any good - I shouldn't have started especially being born with a heart murmur.

But I couldn't smoke an analogue now if you paid me *vapes menthol happily*

The # 1 reason for me was health, was getting less oxygen to my little brain and couldn't walk 2 blocks without being out of breath. #2 have saved a lot of $$$$. Now I feel better and can breath. I am up to jogging 1/2 mile, which also dropped weight of 25 lbs. Last appointment with my Dr. and she was in awww about the changes..

The reason I wanted to quit smoking analog cigarettes is because of all of the other chemicals in it. I enjoy the effects of nicotine, but the other crap was killing me and I could start to feel it finally. After about 8 years of smoking, I was already coughing up a lot of brown ..... The tar in it was coating my lungs and making it more difficult for me to breath, resulting in a frequent out of breath feeling. Also, there is the price of analog cigs. You pay soooo much in "taxes" on it. Used to make my own with those kits, until the gov got so greedy they raised taxes on those too and the price actually doubled. When the price doubles over a tax raise, then something is really wrong there. So, that was another reason I sought out another means. Now, I'm happy with e-cigs and I feel a million times better.
