Why didn't I try dripping before?

Just tried it for the hell of it because I'm tired of filling carts every 5 minutes and damn what a throat hit and nicotine rush. It felt like an analog.

How much more wear &tear does dripping put on the atty and how often should I at least blow clean it?

Yep!!xg4,drip'n isa goot!! dats da way I've beena do'n it fer months now!! Attt's tend ta last me betwinks 2&3 weeks on avg. and I do not clean them,I only blow dim out when flooded I will clean off da thread 2or3 times in a day.....Hecknaw

I drip exclusively. I blow my attys out every night before bed. Other than that, I don't really do anything to my attys except maybe a dry burn in the morning before I start vaping. I've been using the same two attys that I started with about three weeks ago. Oh, and I have soaked them in water once and vinegar once to see how well they performed. Really, I think blowing them out at night and doing the occasional dry burn is sufficient.

I don't really blow out an atty since I don't over drip. Don't see the need for it.

The don't see any extra wear on an atty from dripping.

Just keep the atty wet, not saturated with juice, and you will be ok..

I know there are people who can make cartridges or cart mods work neatly and consistently, but I'm not one of those people. (My suspicion is the true neatniks do well with cartridges, while the rest of us...) I wish it hadn't taken me my first two months of vaping to figure this out.

yes I too have been converted to dripping. I used to think it would be a PIA but actually it's not really. I look at it like this - it's kind of like lighting up a smoke. A reg smoke gives you about 12 hits (average) well with about 3 to 4 drops I get about the same amount of hits. My only suggestion is never drive and drip. If I do drip when I'm behind the wheel it's only when I'm stopped at a red light.

Standard carts (poly/PTB/non filler) are basically junk in my opinion.

One does not want to drip because that's more filling constantly, opposed to less cart fills just a few times a day. Problem is that a filled cart only lasts about three times as long, and then you're basically dripping. I also feel like I'm wasting the juice that never get's vaped.

Carto's give a good steady draw every time, and I can get away from filling them 3 or 4 times a day. I was using those with great success, but I only had one and it has expired. I plan on getting more, but until then, dripping is great. I always bring a standard atty anyway incase I don't feel like filling my carto.

The down of dripping, aside from refilling every ten minutes, is the spill/leak factor. I hade the residue the niquid leaves on my fingers.

yeah hecknaw - it took me a while but now "I see the light" ...once bitten by the dripping bug there's no going back...also the EGO (with it's cone) is a dripper's cat's meow devise
