The old adage "All good things to those who wait" is definitely applicable to vape mail. I tend to go with USPS, even though they have a penchant for screwing things up, because things always end up in my mailbox sooner or later. And the wait is worth the money I save on shipping.

I think you are asking "Why do all the vape companies us the USPS instead of UPS" for their free shipping option ...
well quite simply they are cheaper. I have not seen many companies that do let you pick and pay for different carriers and methods. but really , they are trying to compete and serve in a heavily price conscious niche.

from what ive heard, theyre federally bound by law to not tamper with items. (unless of course youre shipping something illegal, but that would fall under some law enforcement agency jurisdiction) so, in short, i guess i feel "safer" using them. ive heard some horror stories about items/packages go missing with UPS and FedEx. USPS has never really failed me yet. *knock on wood*...Hong Kong Post on the other hand.......thats for another thread. :p

The reason most vendors use USPS over FedEx and UPS is due to the lower cost to you, the customer. USPS shipping gets as low as a few dollars for First Class up to $5-$16 for Flat Rate. You have more leeway with USPS in terms of weight whereas with UPS and FedEx, if you want to ship something small, you're looking at $10-$12 regardless; that's for up to one-pound.

With USPS, for example, if you can fit 20-30 pounds of ordered product safely into a flat rate box, you're probably going to pay no more than $12-$16 for shipping depending on the size of the items. With UPS or FedEx, expect that to be double or triple depending on where it's going.

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
Frankly, if you take into account the SHEER VOLUME of packages that are sent via USPS, their low goof-up rate is pretty damned impressively low compared to other shipping companies. Yeah, we hear a lot about the BAD experiences but who is going to come online and start threads complaining that everything was delivered perfectly most of the time?

Something to think about.

I always ship usps for my business. I utilize their first class service and flat rate shipping for larger items and items over 13oz. I love this flat rate because not only do I not have to weigh the items bit it comes with garunteed delivery times and free $50 insurance plus free pickup. I also print my own postage and stamps with a dymo machine which gives me a discount so it's even cheaper. 100 percent usps over ups
