I didn't see a sub forum for site questions, so I thought I could post this here to see if any of you have an answer for me... Is there any way to keep the site from logging you out every so often (and not like days on end, I can be gone for 20 minutes and when I come back I am logged out). I often keep the page open while visiting other sites and when I come back to it, I am logged out. Is there a setting to change this?

I logged in the first time when I registered. Haven't had to do it since. If there is a setting it is already set for me. Sorry I can't help but I love your avatar.:D

I don't know I've never been asked to login. I could shut off my whole computer and come back to this site and I would still be logged in.

I'm guessing maybe it has to be your computer. Maybe you have some firewall settings or something. I'm not a computer whiz, but check out your computer.

Well, the weird thing is that it happens on both my computer. I have a windows laptop downstairs and a Mac upstairs and it does it on both machine. Wow, I can't believe nobody else has this problem. Been happening since day one for me. Thanks for the quick replies though, hopefully someone knows how to fix it....

When Logging in, check the "remember me" box while doing so and you will not time out and stay logged in.

Sun

You know, I think Sun and Hangtime are correct. I don't think I have ever clicked "remember me" but I will try this and let you all know...

BTW, I do use Firefox on my Windows and Opera on my Mac...

Hey, I think it is working! Don't know why I never noticed or checked the "remember me" What a simple solution to a frusterating problem! Thanks guys and gals, you all are always great with helping people out! :)
clicking that sets a cookie that does the login for you. its not as if you dont get logged out simplely does not ask you for your username and password.
