Why do people use mechs or hybrids when regulated mods are so much better?

Anything you can do I can do better, I can do anything better than you. Control power delivery to the atomizer, run any voltage or wattage I want, run any type of topper I want any time I want, run coils that are so low resistance they would be unsafe in any mech, and let's not forget temperature control.

For the record, I've got no problem with mechs. Have a couple myself. Vape what you want and be happy. I'm just poking the OP with a stick.

true hybrids

Because there is no standard.

The vast majority of toppers are 510 threaded.
The few hybrid toppers use different threading.

The 3d rda uses m20x0.5
the heron uses m20x1

Different mods use different threading; m20x0.5, m20x1, m21x1, m22x1

Things would be a lot easier if there were simple thread adapters.

I saw in another post that you had a copper Praxis and a copper SMPL.

Both of these mods are not true hybrids. They are "hybrid top cap" mech mods.

About what I figured, the OP doesn't even know what a hybrid mod is.

    add:
edyle, and a true hybrid doesn't have any threads at all, the mod & atty are all one piece.

    Somewhere out there
Time is not circular but neither is it linear.

Time is an illusion. There is no past, no future. There is only NOW.

I nearly forgot about it, but I do actually have one hybrid. I bought a hybrid base for a KF 3.1 . I would not have bothered, except for a problem with the original center pin. I use my regulated mods more often.
