When I first started vaping I was probably using around .5ml to 1ml per day and I had some localized dehydration issues, that being mouth and sinuses. Upped my water intake to no less than 64 oz per day, consumed throughout the day, and things really improved. Now I have less upper respiratory problems, and my sinuses are the best they have been in many years.

Most folks probably don't get enough plain water intake on a daily basis, whether they vape or smoke, or neither. Even if you aren't dehydrated from vaping, drinking more water is only going to help your body's systems work better. Just don't over do it, it is possible to drink too much water and incur related health issues.

When I was a younger adult, I started drinking less water. My pee got more yellow. I didn't worry about it. After 6 months, it started hurting when I went #1... Doctor time!! Kidney stones caused by a buildup of minerals, which happened because I was not flushing them out!

Once was enough. Passing the stones (very small ones) felt like pulling a cactus through my..um...well YOU know...
Never again!
Drink more water and save yourself from a painful experience.

Good to know. Every one needs more h2o

Not everyone. There are deaths from drinking too much water and throwing electrolytes off all the time. I am very very active and will have my dehydrated moments but I am some of the time over hydrated out of some habits. Now what has sent me to the doctor twice was not dehydration but too little salt because of the amount I drink and my activities.

What habits were those???

Hyponatremia from overhydration is a real thing and happens, but *deaths* from it are rare. It is very, very hard to drink enough water to die. A normal person can't just drink a bunch of water and be like "whoops, drank too much!" It takes more water than a person could casually chug down.

A healthy person that isn't over-exercising in midday heat can--and should--drink as much water as they want.

I'm really curious though: what were you doing? The only real-life cases I've seen of serious water intoxication were at my high school (summer football practice in AZ), and a stupid contest on the radio called "Don't Wee for Wii". Contestants were supposed to drink as much water as they could without urinating ::face palm::.
