OK, so I am finding that some of the flavor I am enjoying tend to either pop and hiss and other start off good but them burn and gunk everything up withing less than 2 ml of fluid. Am I vaping wrong? . This happens faster in the toss away top feeders more but it even happens on the EVOD bottom coils as well. I am rinsing and drying the cartomizers every tank and priming the top feelers after letting them soak in juice for at least a half and hour. All the juices I purchase are 50/50 VG/PG and I am so glad I bought the different samplers as I do like to change flavors a few times during the day

I've read the popping sound is fine and normal it's just the juice heating up to the point of a proper vape temperature. And for me the vape isn't as good until it pops. I use a sweet desserty juice and I've found my wick/coil turn black after a few hours of vaping at 5.7V+ but it doesn't really happen at 5.5V. My much lighter redbull+peach+green apple blend cracks and snaps instead of a mild pop, and it kind scares me that a bead of hot juice is gonna go launching through my throat and burn like hellfire. I suppose I need to start adjusting my voltage based on the juice I'm using.

Holy Crap! Could juice actually shoot out like that? And if so, would it be scorching hot?

Hot juice popping in your mouth really just scares you more than actually feeling it. It use to happen to me a lot when I first started modding.

What they said. It's scary but hasn't hurt me or actually gotten the juice into my mouth, it just produces a small shockwave type of effect that you can feel in your drag.

Yeppers. When any of mine do that, I just burn it off a couple of times without taking a hit, and then it's over. It seems like it just
doesn't heat up enough to vaporize before hitting your tongue and it's bogged down on the coil. Burning it off before taking a hit resolves it. Easy to do. ;)

Oh..what I do when that happens is unscrew the tank off the battery, put some paper towel down under it, then blow the loose juice out of the bottom of the tank (it usually means the coil/wick is flooded and have too much juice in it)
