It's odd!

Sometimes they post perfect, sometimes upside/down.

I have flipped some pics, saved them and uploaded them, only to have them post perfect (upside down). Sometimes the flipped version gets flipped on upload (which then looks good)

What's the deal?

I am uploading via Chrome on a Mac Book Pro

PS, since I have had to remove and re-upload photos several times on the same post, it then adds a thumbnail atachement, which is visible in the post
Here is an example http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...rchased-ecg-convention-anaheim-9-21-13-a.html

There's the issue. For some reason, Apple operating systems do funky things with your images when they're uploaded to vB. A better solution may be to upload them to a hosting site such as imgur.com and then link them from there.

Yup... It's the Apple.

For example, I take a landscape photo with my iPhone. Upload it to my PC. On the thumbnail, it's orientated to portrait. I view it, it's landscape again. I upload it to certain places like Facebook and it's portrait again.

Same type of issues on my Macbook as well. It used to be so frustrating. A solution would be to upload to an image host and use the direct links to the photos you want to share.

This way you can easily fix the orientation and be assured that it will post the way you want it to.
