Lots of people would agree that dripping is an 'art'. It takes some time to learn a process on priming the atty, how many drops will give you how many puffs, and keeping the atty from drying out / flooding. And it depends on your make of atty, pg/vg ratio of juice you are using, etc.

Overall, IMO dripping gives a stronger fuller flavor, once you get the process down. Carts/cartos are great from a convenience standpoint, and they do provide a great flavor as well.

All depends on your patience level.

I am still smoking my Joye 510. Dripping gives me burnt taste and I have to drip every 5-6 puffs. I unpacked my cartridge , put few drops on it. Vapour if more natural and no burnt taste. How come dripping is better ??

I am using an ego-t
I drip onto the bridge (tried debridged, did not like).

I found the first few drips go away quickly but after that 4 drips last me about 2 hours (I chain vape).
The juice needs to seep into the gause quite a bit before it really starts to work well then you get excellent TH and taste.

When I drip a new or cleaned atty I put 5 drops on, puff it a few times then put another 2 to 4 drops on before vaping.
after that it's just add as needed.

I drip almost exclusively. I noticed the 510 attys give a harsher feeling than the 801. The TH is warm and smooth. Very smoke-like. Also, I use 5v and gain the difference vs 3.7 is very noticeable.

I have tried many cartos. The only ones I have found to be practical and ok tasting are the mega xl dual coils. I have tried the smoke teks and boge 2.0 etc. They are harsh, liquid winds up in your mouth now and again.....

I started dripping because I was dripping into the cart every 10 or so puffs anyway. I got a drip tip and top it off every 5-6 puffs without having to take off the cart.

I bottom feed now so I don't even have to drip anymore.

Yeah ,exactly ! Every 5-6 puffs. I thought it was only me ,lol.

Did you remove the filler from your cartridge? You don't need filler when you drip.

If you did remove the filler and you're still getting a burnt taste, you're vaping the atty dry. If this is the case, as other have said dripping is something that takes practice to get right. Keep at it and you'll get it within a day or two.

The reason we like dripping is that, when done properly, the flavor is much stronger.

For me, dripping on a debridged atty provides a warmer vape, which I like. And much better flavor. Plus, I hate filling cartos and I double hate it when you fill one and the performance drops off while there's still liquid inside. Seems like and awful waste when I'm paying up to $1/ml.

The best thing ever invented was the drip shield. I can drip in ten drops, let it sit for a few seconds and vape for a good while without having to drip again.

I used a 510 with carts for almost 7 months. I tried and failed many times to get it to work. I just gave up and went to an eGo with either cartos (2.0ohm) or dripping.

I agree, dripping takes practice. I use a regular 510 atty. I prime it up (if it's the "beginning" of my dripping) with about 5-6 drops. I also use a drip tip. I put on my drip tip and just vape until it's flavorless, then drop about 4 drops and keep vaping. It's important to note that if your atty is getting hot, let it rest. However, since dripping and driving is DANGEROUS, I use cartos a lot when I'm on the go.

:) You'll figure things out. If carts work, go for it. Like I said, I have 7 months of experience with them and eventually just couldn't take it. I upgraded to an eGo and it was like an unveiling of flavor. I couldn't believe it. :vapor:
