for some reason whenever i think johnsons creek I get an automated response of "bad", and it is because it just seems like (to me) that everybody hates johnsons creek smoke juice.

Does everybody really hate them? from looking at their website the prices are a little high, but if you figure out with shipping they are cheaper than Nhaler with their ten dollar shipping.

Also I heard they make their juice themselves, that cant be to bad right? I mean the rage today is all about stores that make their own juice so why wouldnt they be popular.

I have never tried them so i was just trying to figure out why a lot of people hate them?

Is the juice that bad? I have heard issues with their juice such as clogging and then they reformulated the juice. to this about half and half said good or bad.

how is the new juice?

If you like johnsons creek what are some good flavors they have? dont they do holiday flavors?

I have seen many posts from others comparing the "old" jc recipe to the new one and finding it lacking:( I personally ordered french vanilla and choc truffle and was not impressed:( I personally prefer Dawn @ www.diyflavorshack.com she makes her own juices and if it says strawberry that's what it tastes like :) Also Drew @ www.nhaler.com makes some of his own juice and the hv gives you clouds of vapor:) His shipping is now $7 and he throws in extras and ships very fast:D Just my opinion:)

Johnson Creek has been around a quite a while and I think they have went thru some 'growing pains'. I haven't been able to use their juice since they came out with the new formula, because they don't have a VG juice anymore. But I used their Tennessee Cured from January until about June and it is a great flavor! I never lost an atty and my juice never turned green.

Is green juice an issue they have?

I bought some JC arctic menthol to try out a month ago or so. It wasn't bad. I used it in my L88b and it tasted so-so, then I tried it in my DSE-601 e-pipe and it tasted better. It has a kind of coffee/chocolate-ish flavor with a little menthol mint flavor. Certainly nothing "arctic".

Bottom line, it's ok but I probably won't buy it again. If anything, I'm reading a lot of DIY posts here so I can start making juice for myself.

I must be in the minority here. I absolutely love JC Chocolate Mint..it's my favorite. I have been mixing my own e liquid and have tried to mimic it, I've come close but JC Chocolate Mint is my favorite thus far.

Everyone has their own tastes...i suppose this is just like everything else, you just like what you like, because you do :)

Have a great night :D

I've personally never tried any of their stuff, but here's the things that have come up in the past:

Juice turning green.
Juice fouling atomizers.
Just really foul tasting liquids (search for Terraphon's video reviews)

This was all in the past, particularly 6-8 months ago IIRC.

Whether things are different or not, I have no idea... but that's how a lot of impressions were made.

I also have never had ANY JC juice turn green, or tasting bad. I have placed orders totaling >120ML in multiple sizes and orders.

I LOVE THEIR STUFF!!! I wish I had the recipes! This is because I "will not" pay $25 for 30ML of juice (only eLiquid I can mix myself... "cause I's cheap/thrifty?")!

I love their stuff, and never tried their Choc.Mint. I made some Lorann ChocolateMint last night, and I am going to add menthol as soon as it comes in because OMGreekGods it is awesome.

The only green juice I have ever had was from what I believe was oxidation in a spring autodrip mod after forgot and left a cart (1/2 full) on the counter for a few days while trying other mixes, (cart was a bit melted before I learned bridge alignment so there it sat). I think it was the Citric Acid I add. If it is good enough for JC, it is good enough for me!

I got Choc. Truffle, Cherry, and the Strawberry for my first order. The 11mg in the Truffle mixed with the others to keep the nic lower was a good idea. I have been a Cherry addict since then. $ is an object.

...I am a psudo-Newb, so I may not have had the issues other have before I started. (This is also why Mac users rave about Macs, most have never used the original/"vintage" ones. Old-schoolers stay away from things they had problems with even if they are fixed months if not years later. Say DHCP.)

JC's Smoke Juice was the first liquid I bought and it was horrible. It had a puke/throw up in your mouth taste. I ended up using it to prime new attys with.

This was back in July, so I'm not sure if they changed their formula or what.

I hear good things about their Tennessee cured juice, but I'm not sure if I would buy another JC juice.

I vaped JC BritishBulldog from Nov 2008 - Aug 2009 with no ill effect on my atomisers.

Loved this liquid but the last batch I got tasted nothing like the original formula & I found it really sweet.

I am hoping they get back on track as I really miss my BB.

Message to JC ---- If it aint broke dont fix it

I agree, I loved the old BB, but the new formulation is nothing like it - mostly vanilla and sweetness...

I've ordered JC's Cherry, not bad, but not great, their Original flavor (added loranns raspberry to that to make it vapable) and their sampler packs in PG and reduced PG. I think all their flavors have a smokey taste, even the fruit flavors. They're not strong on the flavors, I have to do tongue hits in order to really taste the flavor, but the smokey taste always comes through.

I've ended up adding some loranns to most of their stuff to boost the flavor.

It's not bad juice, lots swear by it, but most of my JC juices have been shoved to the back of my juice drawer.

The one good thing is that it is American made.

I have used JC juice on a few occasions. I had a 30Ml bottle of Mint from their old recipe, and a sample pack from their new recipe. While I didnt mind the flavors, in fact i was quite fond of Tennessee Cured, I cannot bring myself to order it again. First, it is way over priced compared to the rest of the market. I know they make it themselves which obviously will make it pricier as they have to pay premiums for the ingredients as they do not buy it in such large quantities as say Dekang. Second, out of maybe 40 - 45 Ml of juice I have used from them, I have had 4 attys die that only ever used JC juice. I was able to recover 2 of them via intense cleaning, but they are VERY wimpy now. Also, I used the PG not the VG version of their juice.

I like JC stuff alot, ive tried about half their flavors, they all seem to have a "Base" flavor. My favs are Black Cherry, Peach and probably Vanilla. If you order their 3 Bottles deal you get 15ml for just under $10 each. One nice thing is the dropper bottles they come in, they also include a plastic mini "carry" bottle.

The only "negative" experience Ive had was ordering 18mg, it felt wayyyy stronger than it did the first time. I then ordered 24mg and cut it in half with glycerine. I think next time Im just going for the low nic. Cutting diminishes the flavor too much.

Another positive, every time I have contacted them with a question or concern they have always offered to return the bottle and send me a new one. Their customer service is top notch.
