Ok, my hubby was right. The Merango Johnson Creek juice, in my Apollo eGo with a CE5 clearomizer is stinking up the house. Seriously, it smells like burning plastic! UGH!

Going to wash it out now. Letting my Johnson Creek steep a while, going back to my all-day vape: Apollo Vanilla! Love the stuff, hubby loves the way it smells in the house. Like a vanilla candle! I am curious, though. Since my eGo does not have variable voltage, could the battery be too hot for the non-PG juice (it's the Red Oak line). The clearo is about a week old...has it bit the dust?
I just cleaned it out last night and dry burned it, too! I'm stuck on this one, I can't stand the smell!
 This is what it smells like in my house!!

My Clearo info:

Apollo eGo Clearomizer CE5 with replacement coil head

The CE5 eGo clearomizer is designed to work with any eGo batteries. It is similar to the CE4 clearomizer but its heating coil head is replaceable so that you can reuse the clearomizer tank and mouthpiece to save money!

Easy fill system - can be filled directly from your juice bottle, just tilt and fill up to 1.6ml.
Mouthpiece inserts and then screws down for a complete seal with an added silicone o-ring on mouthpiece.
Completely sealed at the base
Manufactured from thick durable tank style plastic
Thick top coil with fat long wick. Because of the wide inner tube design the wicks stay wet from natural vaping motions
Top coil is a thicker design so you need to 'break them in' for the first few minutes when vaping; durable, provides longer lasting performance.
Note: When screwing on the mouthpiece, only screw it finger-tight. Over-tightening can push down the clear rubber seal inside the clearomizer, which can lead to leakage.
Note: when you remove the clearomizer from the eGo battery, make sure you hold the bottom of the clearomizer and unscrew. Do not hold to tank to unscrew because it can open the tank and cause eliquid to leak.

well, it doesn't list the ohm rating for the clearo coil, but they market it specifically for ego batteries so it should be fine. How does the vapor taste? Are you getting a burnt taste? If not, it might just be the smell of that particular juice. If you are getting a burnt/plastic taste you could be having wicking issues, make sure you are tilting and twirling your PV to keep the wicks wet.

Thank you everyone! The vapor tastes ok...though I might have a bit of Vape Tongue! I don't taste a burning at all, so that is good news. On the plus side, I have contacted Johnson Creek to see what they suggest. I will update their recommendations here when I get a reply. It's been a bad day of vaping for this newbie! Clearomizer bit the dust, everything was leaking, now the smell, nothing tastes right. But as they say, a bad day of vaping is better than a good day of smoking!
