I think the Stardust looks like one of the better tanks because it does NOT use carto's. If you have the rebuildable version you should be able to configure it to wick correctly whereas with a fixed configuration you have less say over the positioning of the wick inside the reservoir and how it would feed the coil. I've never owned one but I'm assuming the wick goes up into the tank and feeds the coil. Yours is not feeding the coil and you are helpless to do anything about it. You should stop using it if all you get is a dry hit.
The idea is to feed the coil with a wick. Cartos use a foam matrix instead of a wick, and they are much more problematic. They can ruin all of the
juice in the tank if the foam starts sinjing. They also have seriously bad airflow issues which can make them unfun even if you are feeding the coil correctly. Almost all problems you'll ever have with a tank are from insufficient feeding of
juice to the coil. Everything else that happens, like burned foam are caused by that hurdle.
