Why I Love Copper Mechs

Polished copper has go to be the most aesthetically pleasing metal.. In my opinion. Here is photo proof of why I think copper is the sexiest metal for a mechanical mod. Slightly edited to make the polish pop. Illuminatus with the Infinite Dark Horse clone.

i love my Copper Mec's also, yet they need constant attention if you don't want a Patina, my problem is i have over a dozen or so and i'm constantly cleaning them; if i weren't retired they would be a mess....i use Nevr-Dull then 91% ISO after stripping every part down & re-assemble and go back over them with a polishing cloth.

that Illuminatus combo of yours looks great!

I have found that a weekly polishing and cleaning of the threads and switches keeps the Gremlins and surprises at bay.


Been running Copper Nemesis clone for over a year now with nary a misfire or hot switch.



It makes for a relaxing Sunday morning.

I use Nevr-Dull too. That stuff is so great for polishing copper and brass. My mods look better than when I bought them thanks to Nevr-Dull!

I only have two copper mechs. One is my SMPL and the other is a 26650 Stingray. Although the Stingray is covered with a black coating and SS top and bottom cap's, technically it is copper through and through. And with the big 28mm Stillare on top. it's a beast.
