Why is a Provari P3 even a viable choice.

If there is one thing that will dampen the P3 release, it is the DNA40 beating it to market.

IMHO, the DNA40 is a game changer, and certainly higher on my wish list than another Provari.

YMMV

LOL, I am glad DNA40 is here first...if they both came out together I would have to choose for a period of time...now I can save up for the P3 while enjoying the XPV...

I guess bottom feed will need to wait until Q2 2015...lol..One day...one day...an Provevolveonaut!

I actually think a 40 watt would be my ideal number, that's about what my dripper puts out on my mech...it starts getting too warm for me after that. I bet the dripper would be good at higher resistance with higher power. It's the dna40 single or dual battery? I'm guessing probably dual to get 40 watts?

But where are we going to get the nickel wire to make that DNA40 work?

It is my understanding that the temp protection doesn't work without nickel wire in the atty.

Or is it currently available?

Phil B said he bought his nickle on Ebay. So I guess it's readily available. I'm happy I have another hobby.

The difference between THE ProVeri and all the others I have owned:

The ProVeri Vrs1 I have had for over three years. ProVape upgraded to Vrs2 for the price of shipping.
The ProVeri MINI Vrs2 I have had for over one and a half years. Use them both every day.
TOTAL COST: $360 STATUS: ALIVE AND KICKING.

ALL THE OTHERS:
5 or 6 JoyeTech 510's
6 or 7 DSE 801's
About 8 EGO's
VaporLife THE JOKER VV and one other small mod from them, I forgot the name of it.
LAVATUBE
MVP
TOTAL COST: $910 STATUS: ALL DEAD AND IN THE TRASH.

I am a fanboy of only ONE: Jesus Christ. But my wallet sure is a ProVeri FAN-BOY!

As an addendum, I would have bought a VW tube mod, but every one I looked at felt flimsy in my hand. Build quality IS important to me, I stripped down my Hana clone before buying it to make sure it wasn't one of the crappy clones all gunked up with glue etc.. I like the heft of the provari and it's overall design (except for the tapered top cap, but I believe the p3 has a flat cap?)

Yeah....flat on the p3 and I don't love the taper either so I use beauty rings...p3 also doesn't require ego adapter for those occasions where someone wants to try your battery but has ego threading on their tank.

(sent from Mars, it's not as red as I imagined.)

Protovapor is also selling just the boards...same size as 30, if you feel up to swapping the board on your clone.

What rings do you use?
