Right after taking a hit I usually notice some air bubbles coming from the cotton. If just sitting and cotton fully saturated wouldn't think it should continue to release air bubbles though. Hey if it's not leaking and vaping fine what the heck! New coil?

Cowtown, USA. Where the West begins.
The tank works "air-over-vacuum." As juice is brought to the coil via the wick, the juice in the tank is used up. Since the tank is sealed, lowering the quantity of juice in it lowers the pressure as well, drawing a partial vacuum. The chamber-- on the other side of the wick-- is at ambient pressure through the drip tip. So air is forced through the wick into the tank to replace the volume lost by using juice. There are the bubbles you see, and it is perfectly normal. All tanks do this, except for top-coil Genny tanks.

It go to do that are you build up a vacuum and can get not more juice to your coils. If you see bubbles that is good you won't be getting dry hit. Don't know what a dry hit is. When a coil get old, plugged up and not bubbling anymore you will find out. It will taste bad and burn the back of you throat. You then know it is past time to change the coil.
