You might as ask, why is important to put wick in the coil, juice in the tank, charge in the battery, an atomizer connected to a battery. Depending on the amount of watts you want to vape at, the amount of amps you want to push, the number of wraps to fill the space you want the coil to be, how fast you want the coil to get up to temp....... it all comes down to ohms of the coil. The lower the oms the faster the response time but the higher the amps demanded from the battery given the same watts at the coils.
