Why is it so much fun to smoke my CB mic?

I have been smoking this Cobra CB Microphone all day and cant figure out why it tastes so good--no dry hits and no gurgle?

D104.... now thats a term I havent heard in many years..... I had a desktop version....

Yes indeed, my old boss had D-104 Golden Eagle that I tried to obtain from him but never succeeded. I used to love the ping sound they made when you keyed them.

He used to have a Yaesu FT-401B that he would use on 11Meter from a Moonraker VI and drive people crazy with... Those were fun days.

I used to have a cobra soundtracker peaked and tuned, and kicked up with an external 250 watt modulator (hidden under the seat ). Loved that set up. It was in my car. If I keyed up going through a drive through they could hear me over their intercom

i did that with a Motorola two way mic once. used the ptt as the fire button
