Why is there a crackling noise (like sucking through a straw) when I inhale on the JOYE 510?

I have auto batteries - with cartridges and atomizers in this kit. Pre-filled cartridges. Why is there a crackling noise when I inhale? Can I prevent this, or perhaps would cartomizers (which Im looking to buy instead - in hindsight i wouldn't buy separate cartridges and attys again)

Also, really random, haha but why when I inhale so much smoke is coming out of my nose? It's happening when I inhale..with regular cigs that never happened...how can I stop this?

The snap, crackle, pop is the sign of a new well filled carto. It is normal. I really like that sound but it would make it hard to stealth vape. As to the vapor coming out of your nose. I find that it is not so pronounced if you take smaller puffs.

Depends on the type of carto, some make more popping sound than others. I have echo-e cartos, they are the quietest ones i have used. Vapor is coming out of your nose because you are not shutting off the back of your throat when you are taking a drag.

Your nasal mucosa absorb nicotine as well from the vapor as your mouth does, so unless you really don't like the nose thing, it's probably a net plus. I had to teach myself to nose-exhale to get extra vapor in.

Sometimes I get a nose tickle instead of a throat hit. I can't complain, it's not an unpleasant feeling, and since quitting analogs my sinuses are more open than they've been in years.
