Unfortunately, you haven't done anything wrong. Lorann's flavorings are just that horrible.

I don't know Seth I have had good results w/Lorann oil flavors. I would state however that I am not a fan of their Cherry but cinnamomn roll, cheesecake, rootbeer are all good. OP if 100% VG, flavoring may be a little week at 10%. Is this the Lorann oils line or the naturals. You really need the concetrated flavorings for DIY. Aslo did you add any sweetner? I have found one or two drops of sweetner can bring out a lighter flavor.

I've just started diy-ing myself, and have found that I like only Lorann's so far...But I use 25% flavoring for my raspberry, pomegranate, and plum. I have some of Lorann's black cherry, but I haven't tried it yet. Smells really strong. I also use a 60/40 mix of pg/vg. I think Liv2Ski is probably right about the vg, it seems to suck up some of the flavor. This is just my limited experience with their flavor oil concentrates.

Other might have had luck with Lorann's but I never made anything decent fruit flavor wise. Cherry, Watermelon and Pineapple were thre DIY's I really wanted to work.

Using Lorann's, my mixes just became bitter before the flavor got stronger. No matter how much Cotton Candy I would add, just never got a decent juice. Then I tried Flavorart and Wow. My first batch of Watermelon @ 10% flavoring was Very Good.

So maybe others have had good luck with Lorann's fruit flavors. But for me, Flavorart is the only way to go for Cherry, Watermelon, Pinapple and Orange.

With 100% VG, you will probably need at least 20 to 30% flavoring (or possibly more, depending on your taste buds). Keep testing until you get it right for your taste.

FlavourArt flavorings are stronger (and better, IMO). The best place I've found is ecigexpress.com for the most selections, larger mL quantities, and lowest prices. They also have other flavoring brands and ship from Washington. Takes about 3 to 4 days to receive in Michigan.

I think 20-30% flavoring sounds kinda high for F.A. I would start with 10% and see how it goes.

Ok I have been reading on this of days now. I got some 100% VG Mixed it with cherry flavor from Lorann. The mix is 1ml flavor to 10 ml of Vg. There is a great vapor and supper aroma. But no flavor.
What did I do wrong? :?:
Thanks for your help.
Karrick

I tried it a few times, 10% flavorings, between 10 and 30% VG and around 70% PG and it tasted cherry a lot, actually too much for me, is your tastebuds dead?

I found that flavourart flavorings are horrible but they have a huge fan base here in ECF. Lorann's tropical punch is my daily vape, never found anything else that can beat it :)

I never had any luck with Lorann's. Just don't have a good recipe.

I would love to here what you do to make Tropical Punch. I have it but don't think I have even opened it.

Doesn't really matter the recipe, it just always tasted good for me, always 10% flavoring and either no VG or up to 30%, I always like it. I never mixed flavorings together to create a new flavor, I keep things simple. Don't sweat it if you don't like it, we all have our preferences in taste.

So your using 10% Lorann's Tropical Punch with no sweetener? I'll give it a try and see what it's like.

I heard a little about sweetener but never used them, guess I should research that. Maybe that's why I have around 30 bottles of flavorings and I don't like them. I need to find at least one more flavor to vape, tropical punch is the only one I vape.

I use "Cotton Candy" for sweetener and it works well.

The original poster mentioned he's using 10% Lorann flavoring, so my response for 20% to 30% flavoring was for Lorann flavoring (not FlavourArt). Then I went on to say that FlavourArt's flavorings are stronger.

So, he already started with 10% Lorann flavoring and needs to add more (Lorann flavoring) to obtain some flavor.
