Why is voltage more important than atomizer model?

Hi all,

Just a question. I trust when people have told me that I ought to get a higher voltage PV for better performance, but my question is why the voltage of the battery matters and the atomizer does not? Are standard batteries like the ones with the 510 really that crappy that they do not take advantage of the atomizers capabilities?

AdamM,
Hi. I hope you don't mind if I throw my two cents in. I started out with the classic 801 pen style PV and graduated to the NicoStick. I was using the typical 14500 single battery setup. I would find that starting out with a new battery the vape was very strong, plenty of vapor, great throat hit. After about an hour the vapor started to drop along with the throat hit. The battery dropped to 3.7 volts quickly and then diminished to 2.5 volts during the course of the battery charge along with the performance. Toward the end I didn't know if I needed more juice or had to change my battery.
That's when I decided to build the EverCool VVPV.
Since then I never looked back. It maintains a constant voltage that I set according to the juice and atty I use until the end of the battery charge. All my other mods are in the closet and will never be used again.
VV is the way to go, weather you use the Buzz, Little Sister or EverCool, you will receive the same great vape through out the battery life. You can adjust it to accomodate HR, LR or Normal attys. Being 96% efficient, the batteries perform to their max output.
I'll setp down from my soap box now. Nuff said....:thumb:

They both matter but other than changing the type/size of the atomizer you use, as a consumer you have little control. You can control the voltage. And with any atomizer, a higher volt PV will provide warmer vapor which better simulates the inhaled feel of an analog. I think you need to actually try a 5 volt PV to really understand the significant difference.
