Why is WTA such a controversial subject?

Exactly! I was amazed that anyone would behave that way on a public forum. Especially someone who is trying to start a business.

On another note I saw the unflavored variety was available from whole cig. I tried to order but google chrome said that the sites security cert was not trusted. Anybody know anything about that?

I have two bottles from them(when they are available). I can't put my finger on it and I am certainly not technical enough, but their juice isn't quite the same as aromas. I am not knocking it(and you really can't get unflavored from aroma unless a large comet is passing by) so I mix it with my tobacco flavors. it helps, but is not the same as aromas. I have spoken to one of the owners and he seems like a nice guy, but their website is short on details about the process or anything else. I just don't know what I am getting but because of the lack of suppliers I will hold my nose and jump. I vape wta to stay off cigs, plain and simple if their wta helps me do that (even if it isn't exactly the same) and I think it helps, I will use it.

One thing I have learned about this subject is that is as subjective as all other things ecig. When I say subjective, I am not saying that one may not be higher in specific alkaloids (a possible choice tobacco for specific minor alkaloid content) which may work better for some, but I have seen people swear by Dvaps, Aroma's, Vapelicious' and WholeCig. Dvap's not making it himself anymore (as far as I know) and Vapelicious is, well, who the hell knows. What works for you is the best, period. I have my favorite and I am happy I can get it. That may change one day as all things in vaping (for me) evolve. Hell, I used to love SafeCig, but I don't anymore--how did I vape that crap? LOL.

My favorite is unflavored WTA. I really enjoyed Vapelicious' unflavored, but we all know how that is going. I really liked Aroma's WTA unflavored concentrate (before it became "DIY") but it's been so long (middle of last year) since I had it, I can barely remember what it was like. Now I really enjoy WholeCig's unflavored WTA. Yep, my favorite is unflavored WTA, period.

I think unflavored WTA is the way it should be experienced (at least some of the time). I am using mine now as a standalone, and to DIY-- I am thrilled with the results so far.

I'm more in to unflavored WTA when I can get it. Partly because it's adding variety. I've vaped unflavored straight nic and its definitely different, meaning not so great for me as unflavored DIY. That's a logical way to compare the two now that I think of it for people who wonder what the big deal is. I guess....

So does Jerry sell the unflavored WTA? I might be interested if it comes in the Aroma line of PG based juice.

lately he hasn't had it for sale because they use all of it to meet demand in the flavored juice. I think he is looking to expand capacity in the near future and hopefully it will be available then. until then , I use wholecig. the good news is jerry's demand has doubled so more and more people are looking to wta for help. which makes it unlikely anything will happen to curtail our ability to obtain it.

Vapers are rightfully concerned about what will become of us when the government chooses to become involved. I think it's likely WTA could be severely curtailed unless we all get behind it as an option in harm reduction just like vaped nicotine. Just because a particular person doesn't need it shouldn't make it less important overall.

Getting back to the original question, I believe there should BE no controversy, because thus far WTA has shown no harm and only benefit for certain people just like vaping in general. Those vapers who opposed it basically came from the same ignorant standpoint possessed by the entities who would like to regulate vaping out of existence or mold to fit their financial agendas.

Well that's great news for Jerry and the rest if us who enjoy Aroma's juice.

I placed an order last night for unflavored. Do y'all know if the 25mg is referring to nic content or is that for total alkaloid content?

WC states that since they don't add nicotine to their WTA, it is just WTA and VG. So, according to that, 25 mg WTA--roughly 95% nicotine and about 5% other alkaloids--there would be about 23.75 mg nic (if I've calculated it correctly) with a remainder of about 1.25 mg of minor alkaloids. It might not seem like a lot, but that is the "spread" of alkaloids (both major and minor) of tobacco that they use. Make sense?

That is about what I figured. I may have made a mistake by trying this stuff. My normal adv is tasting pretty sorry compared to the two WTA's I have. I have the unflavored on its way. Maybe I can mix it with my other juices to make it last.

I really appreciate everybody chiming in on my first thread. It is really welcoming to have people who have much more experience on the subject giving me feedback and opinions.

I like the idea of 100% PG myself but the trend is in favor of VG and so now Jerry will be offering 100% VG WTA, same as WholeCigs. When Jerry said there will be a better availability of DaiY WTA in the future I believe him. So basically waiting because my body can deal with VG fine, I just prefer PG, although never 100% but as the 60 to 75 percent or even 50/50 depending on flavor. Ha ha. I want it all vapor, flavor and throat hit!
