I finished dinner tonight and sat down with my E-Go C-Twist and a Pro Tank Mini with a full tank of a mixture I made of some local juice I bought at a local B&M called "Elite Cig" and about 25% of a Double Ry4 and had some good vapes. The mixture has a good throat hit but is mellow and produces a very good amount of vapor. It's a nice tobacco flavor but with some sweetness added from the Ry4. It struck me while I was sitting there enjoying it that the experience was better than any cigarette I've ever had. It even gives me hope for the future as I'm sure I'll be able to repeat that experience time and again as I try different juices and equipment.

I accept that vaping, because of the fact that vaporizing occurs at lower temperatures than cigarettes, and that fact that the juice isn't loaded with all of the "enhancements" and nicotine boosters put in cigarettes, will never give me that rush of nicotine that cigarettes have. (Although I haven't tried a 36 mg nicotine juice!) The pleasure of it and the taste makes me feel as though it's more than a fair trade. And that's not even counting the improvement in my health! Anyway, just wanted to put those thoughts about my experience out there for anyone new to it or wondering what the trade off from switching will be.

Merry Christmas all...

molimelight,
You are correct, there is hope for the future, as you control the vape experience.
The higher nic may give you the rush, but the simple pleasure of the vape (IMHO) more than makes up for that.
Then you add the, dare I say it....." health improvements" to the list......priceless....
A Merry Christmas to you and yours.......

molimelight, glad it is working for you. I feel the same way. When I started vaping 85 days ago, I was open, but expected the transition from smoking to vaping would be more difficult. Hanging out and participating in ECF really helped make the switch easier than I could have managed on my own. I know vaping won't completely duplicate my smoking experience, but I have found more flavor and joy in vaping than I did with smoking. With none of the awful effects that I had with smoking. My health has improved, breathing better, singing better, smell and taste better and because my equipment needs are pretty simple, it is costing me less money. What a deal.

Keep vaping and I'm glad you've shared your experience. That is what makes ECF valuable to me....other folks' sharing their experiences. So thank you and Merry Christmas !

Cigarette cravings go away over time. I've been analog free for over a year and a half. The difference between the ecig and analog addiction for me goes as follows. The other day I was at a wrestling meet watching my nephew. I was there for three hours sitting in the bleachers. I go to get in my truck and start driving away and it occurs to me I never thought about my ecig at all. Not once. I am absolutely sure that would never happen with analogs. I would have been outside 3x I am sure. Good luck, Merry Christmas and welcome to the forum.
