Why does the Poldiac hit harder than other mechs,im thinking its because the switch is stting above the batt and closer too the tank and supply power directly,am i right?
Sorry, but no... you are not. Electricity doesn't really care about the relatively short "distances" covered by a mech - because electricity, depending on the medium of travel, moves from 33% to 97% of light speed. Light speed is 186,000 miles per second.
The term "hit harder" is... so annoying that it brings up my stomach contents. A mech mod is a battery holder and switch. It's ability to deliver full battery potential is based on the continuity of the entire device including the switch, as a whole.
If the device has
just one area of poor continuity, then the entire device will have a voltage loss at the atomizer contacts.
You can, with a DMM, identify poor continuity of individual elements of a mech - be it the threads of tube and cap or button, the contacts themselves or the all important continuity between button and button housing or collet.
You can't "hit" any harder than a 0.00 voltage loss... and even the best
Poldiac tested has a 0.09v loss.
