I have a dozen mods accumulated over the last 2 years.

A mini Provari with a KFL+ is the daily workhorse.

Seeing more use as I get more into rebuildable drippers (IGO-W and Patriot) are my two Silver Bullets.

Stealth vaping at the cinema using a mechanical Smoktech Gripper with an IBTanked halfling cartotank.

Little to no use: Two standard Provari's, MVP-1, Smoktech VV Gripper, Ovale/Segelei v8, AltSmoke BB, Vapage VMod bottom feeder. Gave my Smoktech Mini ZMax to my daughter.

Because every mod offers something a little different. I have yet to find a mod that fits every aspect of what I want. I have 3 Kayfun's built at any one time with different favors, drippers for trying new juices, small mods to take with to an amusement park, My mechs that are my daily devices, a DNA 30 just to have it here...

But in all honestly, there real reason? I can't stop buy this stuff for some reason.

Once I got my first Reo around 10 months ago, I sold my Provari, both of my Precise + and all of the other stuff I had accumulated in the first several months I was vaping. Bought a second Reo as a backup, and because I keep each dedicated to a separate flavor. Anytime I am out with a bag e.g. When I am traveling or in my work truck, I take both with me. I have only ever needed to use the backup function a couple of times when I have dusted a wick and didn't feel like changing kit out on the spot, but I do switch up devices when I get bored with one juice or the other.

Currently I have a provari/kayfun with what ever im mostly craving at the time (today is lucena by 5 pawns). Then I have a mvp with a smok rda which is a very small single coil dripper for when I want some death by chocolate from virgin vapors or caramel cream made by myself. I have a mech, various drippers, some t3s tanks and such that are rarely used. If I'm going out hiking or something not friendly to vape gear ill toss a t3s on my mvp. Ive dropped that mvp a few times and it works just fine and a t3s is so cheap if it broke I'd be more concerned with the lost liquid. I'd like another provari or 2 and I've been eyeing a reo.

I have 6 going at one time. I have 4 Reo LP Grand with RM's or Cyclone, a Provari mini with a KFL+, and a Sigelei 20 watt with a Fogger V4 on it. Most have different coil builds with varying ohms for certain juices I feel have the best flavor with certain coil builds. Different flavors in each one. I vape all day at work in my closed door office and at home and like to switch things up through out the day.

Here are my reasons for having multiple devices:
1) backups for my backups. If my preferred device, namely my ACE, goes south, then I have backups so I can vape.
2) being able to rotate flavors. It beats repeatedly unscrewing and screwing on toppers when I want to change flavors.
3) convenence. I find it easier to vape off an Itaste SVD with 18350 batts on the road. The smaller size fits better in my purse--and my hand when I'm driving.

Typically and I'm just generalizing here vapers will have 2 different vapes. That doesn't mean they only have 2 mods, but typically they fit different equipment into different situations, and not everyone does it this way:

1) The workhorse - A mod or e-cig you take everywhere... to work, driving, etc... This is typical the mod or multiple mod(s) you grab as soon as you hit the door, you practically live off this mod it is your workhorse.

2) The at home vape - This is the mod or mod(s) you typically don't take everywhere, but instead you enjoy in the comfort of home. You come home in the evening drop your workhorse mods into the charger and grab this when you sit down and want to enjoy a vape

Again this is a generalization but of all the vapers I know alot of them tend to do something like this.

I have so many different mods that I've finally retired some. My main go to mod is the Provari with a Phiniac or IBTanked cartotank for on the go. I do carry an MVP2 as well. I also wear a Vision Spinner on a lanyard around my neck for easy use. My stay at home's are any mech I own. They just use too much battery power and I'd have to change them out more often than I do with the regulated mod. I love my new Gripper with a halfling cartotank and use it when in public. I do have RBA's/RDA's but use them at home.

I have a Vamo 5 that I use everywhere and everywhen. I have a VW ego that I carry in my purse for whenever I run out of battery power on my Vamo. I have a second-hand Vamo 2 salted away for use should my Vamo 5 ever fail (birth-date 1/17/14).

That is all I need. Yeah, I would get in deeper if I had the money.

Provari with a kfl... permanently with me.
Hana DNA30 with a .7ohm kfl
Stingray/Stillare
Copper Stingray/TOBH
Provari mini/Taifun
Panzer/Quasar

Those are always set up but a ton of other stuff for entertainment. Drippers usually stay at home and the Provari and Hana go out with me. The Provaris are the only ones I really trust, though.

I have my ego with a Mini BCC for out and about type things because it's the cheapest to replace if something were to happen to it. Around the house I use my cool fire 2 with iclear tank. My wife took my MVP2 cause she wasn't satisfied with the battery life on her itaste vv v3. Now I'm looking into a rebuildable for around the house.

I completely understand the desire to collect devices. I probably would too, if I had more money and less children (Mom of 4!). I'm happy with my MVP 2. More than happy, actually. However, the eGo I bought in the beginning is sitting on my dresser without any love, and it's been that way since the MVP came in the mail. I wouldn't mind having something smaller than the MVP just for travelling purposes, but I don't want anything too fussy for out and about. We're planning on going to Disney World in October, and I know I'll need something for that trip that's smaller than the MVP. Once I get that, though, I'm quite sure I'll be happy with what I'll have.

Ooh fun thread.

Let's see

My vv3 is for my aroma wta juices. Its my most expensive juice and i vape it when i want a cigarette.
My vv3 is also usually my take the daughter to the park device. It fits in my pocket and doesnt scare the mommies.

My mvp2 is what i usually use to test new flavors and or tanks.
I also use this one when i have to leave in a hurry and dont know when I'll be back. Since it is usually charged and has over two days of charge time, and i can charge it with my cars phone charger.

My provari mini is my on the go device usually. If I'm going to a friends, my moms, a safe place. Where if i leave it laying around it will be there when i come back.

My standard provari is what i usually use at home with my adv for the day. The battery lasts all day and i have a serenity sleeve on it that i love.

My new coolfire2 is my running to the store mod. It fits in my car cup holder and my purse. When not running errands it is usually in my main bathroom as it sits sturdy and i can do me and my daughters hair, my make up and other bathroom activities and not worry about it tipping over onto my tile floor or the sink or tub,
And for the price if it did, its a cheaper mod.

On the way i have a svd.
I bought this one because its telescopic. So i can grab it and any battery in reach and it will work. I usually have a battery in my purse and toddler bag.

I also have a chi you clone because i wanted to try dripping.
But i dont like dripping, so usually my chi you has a carto tank on it. And i dont like that i have to lock it to set it down, so it doesnt get used much. I tried using it as a beach day mod, but sand in the threads was a problem. So i would use my mvp or vv3 instead.

And now im done with mods for now... I really want to see what the new provari will be, the p3. If its telescopic i will be in heaven.
But i imagine I'll buy it because whatever they been working on will be awesome.

And then I'll be done.

If i had to choose one it would be my mini provari. Like if the house is on fire, im grabbing the kid and my mini.

The vv3 is your candidate. Desertvapes.com has them for under $30 shipped
