all i ever see for basic tank recommendations are protanks (for the most part anyways). man the iclear 30s completely blows them away. the flavor is 2x as strong, i get zero dry/burnt hits and i have never had any leakage what so ever.

after so much frustration with my protank 2's and protank 2 minis. mostly dry hits. i gave my 1 clear 30s a different try. now up until recently it was dedicated to my vtr and MBV green apple which is 1 of my 3 ADV's. wow what a difference. hawk sauce tastes completely different as does thug juice. the flavor is way more intense and i have yet to get 1 single dry hit. i can chain puff on it until the cut off activates and then repeat...still no dry hit.

have people just not tried it? IMO its far superior to the protanks. this tank def needs more love than it gets. my only complaint is the non replaceable drip tip. its a nice tip but i would like to switch it up. the plastic tank is a non issue for me since i dont vape any tank crackers. though i see how that can be a problem for others.

oh and did i mention that ive been using the same atty for over 2 1/2 months? and trust me ive given it a work out. yea i know you cant rebuild it but i bet most of us dont care about that. i gave rebuilding a try. it wasnt for me.

i always wondered why unicorn blood tasted so delicious when i first tried it, then i ordered a 2nd big bottle and used it in a protank. it wasnt that great and i felt like i wasted my money. the problem isnt the juice, it was that i originally used it in my iclear 30s.

so i guess what im saying is that if all you use are protanks and the like, give the iclear 30s a try. you wont be disappointed.

edit: damn i put this in the wrong section.

I loved my iClear 30 for the two days I had it lol. Taste was great, vapor production was good, I actually liked the rotating tip.

I was dumb and didn't read that a juice I had was a tank cracker. So two days into my vaping career, it pretty much fell apart in my hands. As far as I know, they don't sell just the tank portion so I never bothered getting another. Now I have a box full of iClear heads and no iClear lol. I don't understand why Innokin hasn't created a clearo with a pyrex tank yet.

I've never tried the Protank so I can't really compare. But apparently the Protanks can be rebuilt. I donno who would stick to a Protank for rebuilding, but I guess that's a slight edge over the iClear.

Here's some love. I have one on one of my Provari's. I have two heads in rotation, and about every 20 fills I swap, and clean, dry burn the coil, and put it away. It has been going strong for months now. Every time I go in my local B&M, I pick up a couple extra heads. I also have bought a couple extra tanks. I'm set for quite awhile on those. :)

I have 4 or 5 iclear 30S and I love them (don't care for protanks either). If you get them from FastTech, they are $9.84, which isn't all that bad. Also they just came out with a pyrex version. They are pricey, though, and they do not have them at FastTech.

If I'm not mistaken that's changing from a top coil to a bottom coil design and may prove to be a very different experience from a 30s.

I use to vape 30's, and Protanks before them. I agree the 30's are better than Protanks IMHO. But I wouldnt waste my time with either after I discovered a kayfun...then I discovered the Taifun... no going back.

But if your dead set against rebuilding.... Im with you an the 30's

yea im not interested in rebuilding. when i first started back up on the ecigs i was all gung ho and tried rebuilding protanks. it was a PITA. i dont need a hobby. i just want a cig subsitute. something quick and easy, the 30s fits the bill perfectly for me.

I'm waiting for the price to go down on the 30s and it's replacement heads before I try them. I have 7 30B's and love them.

i just ordered 2 more on ebay for $11 each with free shipping from the USA. not sure if my replacement head is a fluke or not but like i said in my first post ive been using mine heavily for over 2 months and have yet to have to replace the atty.

I love them! I just bought five more from FastTech and 25 replacement coils. Should last me a good long time. :)

BTW - the rotatable tip is replaceable. Just unscrew it and pop in a drip tip. Not all drip tips fit though. Some are too big and won't fit, some are too small and fall out, but some are just right. It's the reason I passed on the iclear30 and waited for the iclear30s.

How can there be all this love for the 30's and I can't get one offer for the one's I have on the classifieds?

I like them, I just started rebuilding so I don't use them anymore.

I think a lot of people are put off them because of the plastic tank limitations. I ran a liquid not listed as a tank cracker through a Kanger T3s - it cracked - and that was the end of plastic tank anything for me. So even when you are checking that issue you can still get screwed out of a plastic clearo when a liquids vendor does the "Oh, forgot - that liquid does use a tank cracker in the mixture." and all you are left with is a useless clearo.

That, and the inability to rebuild them. Sure, lot's of people seem to report these insane (for clearos) run times on a 30s coil assembly but - pretty exceptional for clearos in general, especially when you look at the price of 30s replacement coil assemblies.

So far the Iclears have been a disaster for me. Bought two MVPs and all four of the 16's leaked like a sieve. Just picked up two 30s' in the classifieds, installed new attys, and one of them leaked out atty all over the counter and I've been unable to stop it. The X.1 I like so far. But to my taste buds it comes up dead even in the flavor department vs a Mini II rewicked with cotton. 12 Mini IIs in regular rotation with no leaks. 7 iClears and 5 of them leak, 4 of them like a biblical flood. YMMV.
