why provari is so popular yet expensive?

I never wanted an argument. I shouldn't have to defend, justify, or explain my preference for VW. I never criticized the Provari or vv. I simply said vw is important to ME and is the only thing keeping ME from buying one.

At any rate. I'm done derailing this thread. My apologies.

The title says it all. Im just wondering tho. Whats so special about provari? I mean, itaste vtr is cheaper but it has the same features as provari.

I know Provari fans say the quality is excellent and they stand behind their product. A product can have more "features" but if the customer service isn't good, the features won't help much. And I say this as an Innokin fan myself. Innokin does nice work but if things go wrong... well, I'm kinda on my own (which doesn't bother me being a DIY type but not everybody wants to "pop the hood", they just want the product to work :) ).

Customer service goes a long way. I remember the days of IBM's dominance of the computer field (pre-PC). Their equipment wasn't the most advanced nor "cutting edge" and often was mediocre. But they made it work. You could rely on them. And that made all the difference in the world.

Not that Provari is "mediocre" or anything like that but, rather, a solid, reliable build and good customer service can beat tons and tons of "features". Like all the bells and whistles don't matter if your car won't start right? :)

I didn't attack you. I was merely pointing out that despite the so-called "set & forget" of VW, you stated that you still made adjustments while in VW mode when you changed different toppers. Isn't that counter-productive to what VW is supposed to do? The way that you use variable wattage is the same way that I use variable voltage. What am I missing here?

Well, like a lot of things in vaping, it's personal preference I think. Within hours of getting a VW device, I settled on 10 watts. And though I've fiddled once in a while, I always come back. So the longer I have the device, the less I bother with the setting.

So that would explain why, with VV, I was always "fiddling". I like a particular wattage. And the vape is consistent across tanks. But, then, not everybody necessarily wants a "consistent" vape. Some may want different levels. So I dunno there is a "better" in there. Just different?

By the way, I went with the iTaste VTR. And like it. Very much.

And a lot of it is that I like the "box" form over the "tube" form. I just do. Pure personal preference stuff. Well, that and I'm something of a klutz and tube mods... well, looks like a broken tank in waiting with me. The VTR's recessed tank thing... well, less chance of me breaking a tank. I mean, I've knocked the VTR over twice already and it's not even noon yet. :)

And Ford is not known for their fit & finish.

Hey! That's all I buy now after having not so good luck with GM models. :)

Lol. And after decades of dissatisfaction with Ford/GM/Chrysler products, I now only buy "foreign" cars, lol.

Ain't freedom of choice grand!!!

I must be an oddball vaper, because even with my DNA mods that allow control of the wattage to a tenth of a watt, I'm STILL bumping power up and down during the day.

And I rarely use cruise control in my car, either. I find it too... boring.

Different strokes folks.... different strokes.

Some like their gas cans in the form of a coupe, some like them in the form of a four door sedan... etc etc etc.

I like mine in the form of a pick up... If it works for you then who cares what others like, use, or think about your choice?

I need a 4-wheel drive I can haul hay in. I couldn't get more than one bale in any of the gas cans posted. Also, muddy jeans and leather seats don't go well together. I have, however, in a pinch moved goats in a Mercury Tracer wagon. There was another time we moved baby pigs in a rental car. When we retuned the car at Logan airport it was nice and clean...but...we told them it smelled that way when we picked it up.

If I were to compare a Provari to a gas can, I would say it was a pre-killer accelerator Toyota.
No flash, just reliable.

Uh, hm. tl;dr. Been sucking on a ProVari for four days and honestly, it's just really nice. Really nice. It's expensive, yeah. Will it be the last mod I get? Hm, probably not. Maybe it's time to introduce the concept of a ProVari tax, everybody must get a ProVari just to have one.

Me, I blew my tax refund to get it, and you know, it is hard to say why I like it so much, but no regrets. No buyer's remorse. My arm gets tired holding it up for prolonged chain-vapes, and my feet get cold from the nic, but it is really enjoyable. I'm just filled with joy using it.

Hm. There you go.
