why provari is so popular yet expensive?

I have a VV3, MVP and twist. I have similar toppers with similar ohms. I set the watts and if something tastes like always, I leave it alone. With the twist, I don't think it is accurate, but I twist to a point I like and leave it there until something isn't right.

I also have an unregulated device that is ok with a full charge.

If Provape adds or never adds, VW to its offerings, makes no difference to me, as long as it works well for a long time.

Oh, I'm so glad this was posted. I always feel so disappointed when there are no Provari vs. the World threads.

I really mean that, too. They're very entertaining.

I recently got my first mech (a satin brass King, with a brass Kraken to match, both the real deal) in a giveaway from Craft Vapery and then bought a Penny mod to put the Brass Monkey RDA on that I won in the same giveaway. I haven't touched my Provaris since I got these, but I am not at all thinking about sellnig them or PIFing them to family. When I want a good, reliable mod with a great, consistent vape and longer battery life than I'm getting from these sub-ohm beasts, I'll reach for one of the Provaris with a Dripper Pro or Sophia/tank and be on my way. They will always have a place. They're indestructible and reliable. That's why they're so popular, but expensive is all relative.

Yes, its a mech.
I own a Simplicty series as well.
Sorry if I wasn't clear.
What I was saying was that instead of buying the Semovar, I couldve bought the ELA as it was available at the time....not that I tbought that it was a regulated mod.

I didnt know about the lifetime service....nice info. Thanks

And brick...dont do it!

As long as you can do it financially, hold on to the Provari (unless you have something else of the same nature)

When I went to mechs, I left the Provari at the house.....but as time went on, I missed the consistent vape throughout the charge of the battery.

Unless you can charge at work. If you can, you are golden.

BTW if this is will be your first mech, you will frickin love it :)

I got turned on to mechs by my stingray clone. I always carry a spare battery on me, so I'm not so much worried about vape consistency, it honestly doesn't bother me that much, but I did appreciate the consistent vape the Provari offered. As basic as the Provari is, it's almost still too many bells and whistles for me lol, the simplicity of the Reo and the way it's constructed really catches my attention, especially once I figured out exactly how the Reomizer works

And here we go again! LOLOL!

It dawned on me the other day why people keep asking this question... why Provari? And it's obvious that those who don't have one are the ones who badmouth it. But why don't they have one?

I think it boils down to motivation. Smoking is very expensive. For some people, that's the only reason they want to quit, the cost. Well, if you are trying to set up for vaping, WHILE buying cigs, that's taking a tight budget and making it way worse. Starting to vape is expensive. Gear, juice, learning by buying stuff you don't like/don't need. At that point, a Provari feels unaffordable. And at that point, you shouldn't get one.

If you have made up your mind to quit... you may think that vaping is also temporary. If that's your goal, to stop ANY nicotine, then you don't need a Provari either. But for most of us, we realize that vaping may be the only way to STAY off of cigs. Relapse when stressed is very very easy, and even going from cigs to vaping was very very hard, especially if you smoked for decades. Who needs that fight again? Those of us who are determined to continue vaping are the ones who would really consider the Provari... because that's when longevity actually matters in gear.

But you can afford a Provari with less than a month's supply of smokes for most people. And for every smoker in 2 months of not smoking. The very cost of ecig gear may be enough to not ever fall back to smoking, that's how it works for me. When I look at how much money in gear I've spent, I know that the temptation to smoke is just not there... or I couldn't justify what I spent.

So if you have to ask why a Provari, you just aren't ready for one yet. But if you find yourself in that frame of mind to want one... you have already quit. You are saving money from quitting. You begin to see that a Provari is VERY inexpensive relative to the higher end vaping gear. It's in the middle actually, from cheap to expensive. EXPENSIVE is a $400 mod... and there are mods that cost even more. And there will be mods you'll eventually want to experience if you PLAN to keep vaping that on hindsight make you wonder how you could have ever thought a Provari was expensive. If you are unsure, then you don't need a Provari, so don't get one:).

Totally off topic, but here's a picture of my favorite gas can:

Aston_Martin_DB7_%288%29.jpg

;)

(No, I don't own a gas can like that. Hmmm, does that by the way mean that I'm compelled to slam it?)

This here gas can has more features, by the way.
%C5%A0koda_Octavia_Combi_III_a.JPG

It's got twice the number of doors, and it's probably even got a parking sensor, for a mere fraction of the price. So how can people be so stupid as to buy that overpriced gas can in the top picture?

The Provari is the best regulated mod in existence for the price point, and power range it offers. This makes it unable to be compared to DNA 30 mods since the Provari tops out at 15 watts. I love mine to death, however, I will sadly admit that I'm in the process of selling my baby that serviced me for 6 months.

I just got in to mechanical mods, and the dark side overcame me. I'm selling it to have enough money (and then some) for a Reo Grand.

But for a regulated mod, the Provari simply cannot be beat

That's a great selling point for the Provari, once out grown it retains it's value and can be sold. My P only ended up costing me $40, once I sold her. Didn't even put it up for sell and someone made an offer. lol

this set it and forget is a joke ,,unless you vape the same ohms with the juice in the same type of atty

also,,provari has been around since the darwin was mainstream, anybody remember those ??

how often do you hear about those ,,let alone see them ??

for you noobies,,the darwin is a VW mod

Well, watts can be a set and forget it, if all you builds on all your rba's can wick and breath well enough to handle 30 watts. lmao. I pretty much run my futura power locked at 30 watts, and in stealth mod. Don't matter what build I put on and it puts out 30 watts. love it. Oh, can't I can't put my 0.2 Rose2 on it though, says short, and won't fire. lol.

Tude Man, You had me rolling with "What would Jesus vape?"..........:

Hmm, well figures J would do the Provari, know he wouldn't think of going to the sub ohm zone. lmao

Why on earth would you say this in that manner, unless you wish to provoke unpleasantness?

Trolling, or you truly feel that strongly about something no one cares if you buy or not?

He asked why.....what did you expect
:)

Surely everyone not trolling is tired of this.....most posters like this never owned a Provari.

To the OP:

Simply put, its a well made mod. Many that dont like it wouldnt spend that much money on a mod anyways, and like to bash on those that do.
Do what you want.
Just vape

How do you find VW so usefull?
I must be missing something, because most of my tanks have different juices in them.
I end up changing wattage anyways when i use my Semovar.
Do you use the same juice in different tanks, or does the same wattage level really work for you for most juices?
VW is why I got the Semovar, and it hasnt worked out as i hoped...

As for VW Provari

What part of what i asked shows me favoring one or the other?
It was a curiosity about the company that makes them, that i guess from the reaction it got from the thread, was taboo to inquire about.
I thought it was pretty legit to ask,but i guess i should have been walking on eggshells instead lol

Yeah I got attacked because I mentioned VW works for me. It doesn't't have to work for anyone else. If it doesn't work for someone it shouldn't be criticized as a joke. I get it, a lot of people like vv which is fine. I can make a friction fire but I still use a lighter. VW makes it so I don't have to do the math and make changes all the time. No one is forcing anyone to use it, but don't get upset when others prefer it.
