If I am wrong, I don't mind correction but it seems to me that it has been said the penstyle has a longer lasting cart and battery than the 901, but the 901 seems to have more vapor. If this is true, why does it seem the 901 gets more promotion for beginners than the penstyle? I mean, if your priority is vapor, then I can see that but cart and battery life must be equally as important. I just wonder why they don't seem to get the same "billing".

easy...the 901 is the most powerful unit that is closest to the size of a burning tobacco ciggy. so newbies want something that makes them comfortable with this new concept. something that resembles their habit sticks...granted the 901 looks like a space age version of the stinky sticks...but seems to be easier to vap in public. but eventually you evolve to the penstyle for a larger cart and battery. but it seems that the guys don't want to hang out in public holding something that a starlite in a 1940s movie would hold (cig in a long elegant cig holder) that is why you will hear the guys say...I use my 901 in public and the pen at home...does that help.

Yes, that does make sense. At the very beginning, I thought I wanted the closest resemblance to a regular cig. Then I started reading about the smaller cart and battery of the 901 and after thinking about it some more, thought the pen would, let's say, raise less questions in public. I know right now I pretty much look like I'm chewing on a pen at work and in public and I prefer that to someone thinking I was actually smoking (guess that's why I haven't minded not having loads of vapor either....I'm pretty discreet when I use it). And I can definitely see why the guys would prefer the 901 style :p

Thanks for the reply!

I'm a total mess when it comes to the technical details of an e-cig so i don't really understand why a 901 atomiser is better?

First of all, it has a smaller steel mesh that i equate to a smaller engine. Vapour is good but i will not say better than a penstyle. Its equal i would say.

Can anyone explain to me why it is better cos i've really been neglecting my 901. Wanna find more reasons to use it cos obviously, i paid for one and have enough parts to last me a year or so...

I can see why some just can not think of using the penstyle and just use the 901. I keep seeing bits and pieces of forum talk that say something about a usb for the 901. if someone like puresmoker had it available...well at home or at your laptop you would have what the kissbox usb is known for...vapping without the worry of battery inconsistency. One of the things I love about the kissbox is the consistency of the power that works the atomizer, you can vap away with a consistent performance. I have all my original atomizers. but I have batteries that are definitely changing in their performance. I have more issues with batteries than atomizers. I think the batteries are sometimes what ruins the atomizers or way too much juice in dripping or topping off the cart.
