ive had it both ways , some vendor juice lingers some dont same way with my diy its probably just the more intense flavors but not necessarily mixed at a high percentage

I wondered if that might be the case. I am using American Tobacco by Flavor West, at 6%. I think I'll mix up a batch at maybe 3% and see what happens. What % do you typically use for a 1 flavor mix?

Why would the aroma be a concern on a cruse. I could understand a smoke or tobacco aroma you would want to avoid but if it's a pleasant perfumey non smoking aroma I wouldn't think it would be a concern. If it is a tobacco smell try the Hangsen line of flavorings. They have some very good tasting tobaccos with no real detectable odor.

I guess just being paranoid we'd be accused of smoking since they would think that is what the smell had to be.

I vape a very aromatic vanilla tobacco that people say smells just like pipe tobacco. I frequently cloud up any given room in the house and my wife can never smell it afterwards. I don't even get a lingering smell on my clothes.
I'm sure if you kept the visible vapor to a minimum then you will be free and clear to enjoy your boat ride!
