Hi nineguns,

I think the experts in here might need a bit more info before they can help with this.

For instance, how often are you refilling the carts? It might be you are letting them get too dry.

What are you using to clean your atomizers? Did this happen from day one or has it only just started?

On all my 5 atomizers that I alternate daily ,,,which I clean every night...I've tried both homemade and bought liquids all I taste is steel/burnt..My cart filler and my plastic cart aren't melting either..Please any suggestions to this noob,,
Thanx in advance...

PS - I place my atomizers upside down on a paper towel over night to drip out as well as, wipe the inside with a curled up piece of a paper towel.

PS - I use pretty much use the 10 carts that I have..just clean under water and towel dry the filler material...both cart material doesn't have signs of not melting...

My question is, is it this way all the time. Specifically right after you refill? If you top off does it work alright?

My wife complains about this a lot and I have to keep telling her over and over again to refill. Its gotten a lot better now that we use syringes since it seems to refill them a lot better.

If you are using old poly filling from carts, after about a week of refilling, sometimes less. The old poly will no longer wick. It just acts like a sponge and does not transfer juice very well.

Replace the old poly filling with new. juice it up real good, drip a couple of drops on the atty, inset the fresh cart, vape away.

After a few puffs, add a drop to the cart and keep going.

burnt taste = dry filliment.

Easy test, drip directly on the atty bridge, try a puff or two. Did they taste burnt?

Good Advice.

Thank you Thank you Thank you,
I think the combination of recycled old poly that I was cleaning weekly and a bad batch of home made ejuice - (using too much Loranns Chocolate)...is what caused this to happen. I put drops of JC Choc/Almond directly onto the atomizer and doesn't taste burnt/steely..Thank you for your input on a holiday...
Vape on and Best Regards,

btw

some use teabag material to replace the poly fill
some use paper towel or napkins
some use polyfill from wallmart or fabric stores
some use fish tank filter poly pads

On a weekend with no other option I would just use paper towel or a napkin. I have done it and it works, they just don't hold up but a day or two at most.

search the fourm there is almost too much info on repacking carts.
