Why use a drip tip?

Obviously, I've never used one. When I was vaping with a Blu I'd just add a couple of drops to the Blu's exposed atty bridge and I was golden. Now that I've upgraded to a 510 can't I just drip on the recessed atty and use a blank cartridge (with no polyfill)? Would I be missing out on anything without using a drip tip? I would really appreciate the help =)

The contoured Drip-Tips have a very nice feel when they are on your lips. They feel like they belong there. Easy to clean and really make your pv look so much nicer. Of course, as already stated, they just make dripping easier.

More natural feel then with the contoured ones. I think I'm going to like this. I appreciate that HzG8rGrl :)

My apologies stubear62 :)

Don't apologize. Trust me. Dude is like a union steward on crack. (I'm gonna regret that bit when he files another 'infraction' against me. lol)

Anyway, I love my contoured drip-tip. And yes, you are going to love it. I didn't think I'd ever be a dripper, but now I see how wrong I was... Just like how I now see how wrong I was to not take an hour of pondering, ten minutes of contemplation, and an overnight 'sleep on it' to decide where to put one of my forum threads.

It's no wonder I got into so much trouble as a kid. ;)

LOL that's awesome, thank you. My only other concern is the amount of juice that dripping seems to gobble up which I cannot afford at the moment. Dripping eats juice faster than gas in my V8 Caprice. Or maybe it's just all in my mind :p

Want to really burn through juice........... fire up an LR atty w/that drip tip. Yes it goes through juice but since switching I just can't go back to standard atty's. It is like hitting an ultra light when you are used to a no filter Lucky.

That makes sense. Kind of similar to what I've heard about vaping at 5v ... insane juice consumption, people get used to it, and every thing else then tastes weak.

To me it just has a much more customized expensive feel which makes the experience more enjoyable. I much prefer it to the feel of a hollow thin plastic cartridge (and yes as I am writing this I realize the irony as a drip tip itself is hollow) Not to mention warmer vapor. It is more convenient than having to constantly remove a cart as well.

I think I'm really going to enjoy this.

I found the exact opposite to be true when I switched. Standard 510 carts seemed to go dry so fast, but a few drops lasted much longer when dripped.

5v is a huge juice consumer though; more so than 3.7v with an LR atty even.
