Call me stupid or lazy or whatever word you chose - I dont even try to get the BBs through the coil (unless I am recoiling) I just lay it on top of the coil (CE2s and CE4s) - seems to work great for me.....BTW Cyrus - I am late to the game - just saw some youtube vids on CE2 tube mods. Basic syringe mods with rubber grommets - I really don't feel comfortable making one - wanna actually get away from plastic. Have u used a Pyrex tank with your CE2s? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Cool I can manage to pull this off on a CE2 and Vivi Nova as well, but yes, a "meant to be" RBA makes it easier. Though I imagine you could swing this on your stardust type coils, assuming you're using those still?

I was really obsessed with tanking CE2s for a while, but I never got around to pyrex. I did use syringes/carto tanks and they work fine. I'm sure pyrex would be great, its just a matter of scoring top/bottom caps (that was the issue when I was trying to pull this off). Then of course you have to order the right ID/OD pyrex and get it cut to size, etc. If you can pull it off it'd be the CE2 holy grail

I was really obsessed with tanking CE2s for a while, but I never got around to pyrex. I did use syringes/carto tanks and they work fine. After modding CE-2's every which way possible for over 2 years, Imo this is the CE-2 holy grail.
CE5 Atomizer with replaceble wick and stem system.



It's the ultimate syringe. Parts screw together, No leaks and the drip tip never falls off.
First thing I do is take it all apart, throw away the silicon and little metal piece on the top. (not needed with cotton wick)
Remove the silica wick and toss.
Rinse it all with hot water.
Rewind the coil to RR's spec's
Pull my cotton wick through.
Screw it back together add joose and vape. Wonderful. :>)

These do come with easy replaceable coil and wick that work well.(for non modders they are real easy to replace).
Once it was time to replace the coil I used to solder in a new one. Now I make em easy rebuild-able with pins and zippo springs.

i use Ce5s too and have recoiled and rewicked one with BB. Maybe the reason it aint hitting right is bc I am using that silicon piece. Will try it without it. The main reason I wanted to make a tank for the CE2 is the same reason this thread was started - to find a better tank material. The last CE2 order I got - the tanks are so thin and flimsy, they crack the first time I remove them. I need to get the fluxomizers and try them - those are better tanks (Cyrus or tomcatt explained that to me in another tread). The CE5 is great - but the ones I have have the clear poly-carbonate tanks - and from what I had read - it is best to use polypropylene, pyrex etc

I too am a Hindu. That is not my tattoo - it is one I will get soon. I have an ohm on my right arm. Like you I am not religious either - but was born a Hindu. Thanks for letting me know about the ohm at the end - I pray this mantar every morning - and you are correct. I dont knwo sanskrit and thought it is in the tattoo. My big concern abt getting this tattoo in the States is making sure it is written correctly - maybe I will wait and get it done if I ever visit India......

I was looking at gotvapes and they were out of stock.....thanks for this vendor - need to spend more mollah.....lol.............BTW I have a smok tech DCT tank - got tired of fiddling with it to make it work right - wonder it can be made to work with the CE2s.......

Ya, Ive done a few of them. First I used a cut down ss CE-2 tube to about 3/4" and pushed that in the tank. It kinda worked but it was a little loose and slid up and down real easy. Leaked a little also. The next one I cut the dc carto tube off at the blow hole. Ripped all the carto stuff out and replaced the carto connector with a CE-2 post/connector cut to length I wanted in the tank. Thus I was able to keep the carto base with the top hat for a good seal on the bottom. That one works real good.

If you use a tubing cutter on the tube it will round over the cut end making for a easy insertion.

The CE2s I have are the ones with the plastic tubes not the metal ones. Should I be ordering metal tube CE2s? Need to also figure out where to get the rubber grommets too............maybe I will just stick to CE2s as they are - besides needing to refill more often - they are pretty flawless as is......

Plastic clearo tubes are too fat. Theres a rubber grommet on the other end, just turn it around.

Bamboo Thread: I hope to come across supervape and find out the brand and size he so thoughtfully sent out. It is about 2x the size of Aunt Lydia's and I think I prefer that, though I haven't given our ol' Auntie that much of a go. Just one so far.

I exchanged PM's with Supervape a few weeks ago. He said he got 2 bundles from an Ebay seller. From his description, I'm pretty sure it was this seller. But the auction was ended and when I contacted the seller about getting more, I was told they didn't have any more to list and didn't know if they would be getting more.
