Ya, I tried that with girlfriends, didn't work out too well...problem with girls is there's no QC...they're all over the map
Even if you find one that meets specs, their tolerances change the instant you put a ring on 'em.
OK, after ten days on a double batten wick on a vivi nova decided it was time to try the cheesecloth wick/coil I rolled a few days ago. Got it all in with 7 wraps 32g at 2.8 ohms. Terrible flavors at first, "girlfriend with whatever else was on my fingers", vaped it for about an hour last night and now a couple of hours this morning. Little by little it kept getting better and just confirms I need a part time sucker. Dan has a new toy "APAM" that should work but more boring than my solution.

I saw Dan's youtube vid on his micro fan auto vaper thingy, cool but a noisy little guy...
So, now take that cheese cloth and stick it an Ody (or Penny)...pretty tough to beat.

Ordered 2 Chinese DID on a co-op, a friend is lending me a Penny for two week while he is on vacation. Will have it Monday if the hurricane doesn't come. If it does I have to get two planes, a helicopter, and a sailboat to safe ports.

Yikes, now that's an insurance claim if you botch that up (can you fly a heli as well?)...btw, how did you make out on the Mini 300 thing?, remember I got 3 and have one of them earmarked for you at cost if you want it and you got screwed over on that payment hassle.
Over 3000 hrs in helicopters and over 17,000 hrs in airplanes. If I am still around when you get the mini I will surely buy it from you, thanks. I think you can still get in on the DID.
...my 300 co-op position has been documented by my lawyer and added to my estate with instructions so it's all good.

Yes sir! It's pretty hard to screw up, tbh, but hopefully they work marginally as well as the DID. I will be ecstatic if that's the case.
I hope they aren't plated copper like the other chinese rebuildables.Anyone using the peaches n cream cotton yarn from walmart in a pheonix rba?Wondering how many strands to use or unbraided.Also any tips on using the bamboo?
