Wick vs. cotton for KLP

Does anyone have an opinion about wether to use a standard wick that comes with the kayfun Lite Plus (KLP) vs. using organic cotton? Which is better and why?

I prefer cotton. I like the way it tastes (or doesn't taste), the way it wicks, and I feel safer using it (there are some questions about silica that remain unanswered). So for me cotton is win win win. The only thing is you can't dry burn it, but that's fine with me as it's so easy to pull it out, dry burn the coil, and then rewick with a fresh piece.

I, too, find cotton to be superior.

It's one drawback (it burns... oh, lordy, does it burn) is more than outweighed by it's positives - (re)placement ease, wicking efficiency, flavor and vapor production.

I too would agree with cotton over silica but I am biased because I NEVER use silica. That stuff is like nappy twisted down feather.
