Yes beauticians use it to go around the neck so they do not get chemicals down a patrons back. I have used it and was quite satisfied with it but I am just a KGD style gal although both saturated very well. A friend recommended this to me and I will order it next time I need some. It really goes a long way imo.

The only bad thing I've noticed about rayon is the fact that the wick collapses instead of expanding.

I have one of those gazillion foot cellucotton boxes and when I first used it I wasn't getting the results so I put it away and chalked it up as a loss of 15 bucks. I then read somewhere that cellucotton contracts when juiced so I gave it another go but overstuffed the coil, trimmed some of the bulk off the tails in my kayfun and it produced a fabulous vape. I now use the cellucotton regularly in my kayfuns and russains.
Once you figure out the wicking with the cellucotton its a real good wicking material.

I got the wicking right I just sometimes move my wicks around with the tiny blue screwdriver and I guess it moves the rayon and basically decompresses it. I just ordered a 60 pad pack of KGD cotton.

The amazon link is what I use - works pretty well. Just tear off the compressed outer layer. I don't boil it, but do pick out seeds if they are obvious. Bought some 7 months ago and still have 3/4 of the bag.

Get your Koh Gen Do at Nordstroms. $12 with free shipping. Got mine from there this past week.
I have Labo and Shiseido also. I rate KGD as best of the three with Labo coming in 2nd.

Koh Gen Do Pure Cotton Pads | Nordstrom

None of the Nordstrom's within a 100 miles of me carry it in the Stores, so I ordered it online with free shipping....

Looking forward to trying it instead of Organic Cotton Balls from CVS.....

Cellucotton doesn't contract when liquid is absorbed in to it. Cellucotton doesn't expand like cotton, but it does expand:facepalm:

I'm afraid that all of these Japanese cottons (KGD, Muji, Shosendo) will be going up in price in the coming months/years. As more vapers come along, the supply will be cut shorter and thus higher prices.

TLDR: Stock up now.

it's not going to drastically go up in price ... Japanese cotton is mainly used by women for makeup.

we vapers hardly use any for wicking.

It's sold out a lot of places. Even the KGD website had a message a while back "due to overwhelming demand we only allow 1 per customer" or something to that effect. This was a few months ago.
