Wicking questions

I have been using cotton for a while now and I like it but I have been having a weird issue. When I saturate my coils/wick on my rda every thing is great after a few times dripping it seems it starts just vaporizing the flavor but leaving the wicks wet. Basically after dripping ejuice I get 2-5 delicious hits then a weird flavor for like 10-15 or until I drip again. When I loose flavor and I pull top cap off and the wick is still soaked but the flavor is gone. I'm using max vg hawk sauce from MBV on a .2 ohm coil on a igo w I re wick every day or 2. And it's not water from rain or anything like that.

When you rewick the part under the coil should not be burnt. If it is then the wick got too dry.

Also, with that low a coil it getts pretty hot and nothing wicks instantly so the wick may be dry at the coil and still damp outside it. Are you sure the "weird" flavor is not burning cotton? Drip less liquid, drip it on the coils.
