Hey everyone

How the heck are ya? Its been a while since my last post, and I forgot how great this forum is.

My question pertains to the Vivi Nova. Might be more of a tank than a clearo but anyhow, I want to widen the vent holes near the battery connection a bit. The idea is in my head only because I have seen others mention doing it to their PV. After looking at how small those holes are already, can anyone recommend a tool or method for widening these a little?

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone

I have a tapered-point grinding wheel for my Dremel. It's made of steel and has worked for opening the air holes on 510 connectors. Be sure to push the center post out of the base before doing this, as well as removing the insulator. You don't want to cause a short with the shavings in between the threads and center pin. While you have the center pin out, you can also increase the airflow by widening the slot at the bottom and drilling-out the top of the pin (depending on which revision you have. My version 2 had the center pin with holes in the side, but not on the top.

There are alotta folks who have tweaked the Vivi Nova to improve the design. It's easy with the right tools and some mechanical aptitude.
