mmk so the wife says we should wuit smoking.... dun dun dunhhhhhhh uh oh
so i do some quiting research find some e cigs :vapor: so now i go from dreading quiting to actually wanting to. Keep in mind its all the wifes idea right?

So i'm now a month analog free which is B.A (Bad ...) i love it and now the wife isn't quiting at first it was like she wouldn't smoke for like three days then she bums a couple...No big deal now after a month of bumming one here and there shes buying a pack here and there and stepping out at home to smoke and she isn't even vaping just steping out every few hours to have a smoke. I'm getting really irritated cause she was the one that wanted "us" to quit and i did and now shes slowy smoking more and more. RAWR!

Shge claims she doesn't get enough "releife" on her smoke smoke breaks and suggested snus but she don't wanna try it and doesn't wanna stealth vape in the bathroom either to keep her nic fits in control.

Any suggestions?

I'm with mwa - just get extra-flavor nic juice. Some suppliers will let you do this (MyFreedomSmoke is one, and you could probably request extra flavor at FreedomSmokeUSA as well).

...And exactly what is it about her e-cig she doesn't find satisfying? What model did you two get?

It may be possible she needs a higher voltage, as well. If you have a common stock battery, like a 510 or a Kr8, you may want to try getting a passthrough, which will knock things up to 5v, or an LR atty, which is a close approximation of the performance at 5v.

If she digs that, then maybe it's time for her to move it on up to a mod.

Well, you can't *make* her do it. She'll quit when she's ready...either by quitting outright or embracing the vaping alternative. At least you know the desire to quit is there. As others have said, make sure she had a really good and satisfying mod.

But it never hurts to gently remind her that no amount of perfume is going to cover that nasty cigarette smell. Hopefully she quit long enough to realize just how bad that stink really is?

I kind of went through the same thing with my husband. Finally I got him a Ego wit LR attys and then he really put some effort into it. I just kept ordering juice I thought he would like until I found his favorite. Once he was getting a good TH, didn't have to mess with batteries all the time and liked his juice he stopped smoking without even thinking about it.

Try a pink EGO and snickerdoodle juice maybe. Who could resist that?

My wife is a stubborn one like that too. I do all the maintenance on her 510 and keep her stocked with good flavors. The less work she has to do, the more likely she is to stick to it. She is at 10 days without a cigarette right now.

I'd definitely get her some stronger juice, I have that problem on my 5 minute breaks at work too. I'd say some double flavor 30-36mg stuff would do the trick, and make sure her PV is up to snuff.

I did this for my wife. I just kept buying stuff and handing it to her saying try this. Finely I hit her sweet spot. Ego battery Cartomizers and 24meg juice Good Juice. Last night she announce that she may wont to start stepping down her nic level my 14-18 Meg juice tastes better. (She was playing with my new Little Sister Variable Voltage Mod. (She don’t now I have one on the way for her)

I did research on the ECF talked about it (a lot) told her stories I had read on the ECF and she is now a full time vapor. It took 3 months. She was having a hard time dropping the last few analogs.

My advice don’t give up take its slow if needed, care about what you are trying to do for her. It dose not matter that it was her idea in the first place. Read about the affects of failing when quitting smoking it can be devastating to some people. My wife was one of them.

I love my wife and if it would have taken a years to get her to quit analogs then a years I would have kept trying. I would like to grow old with her.

Mine did the very same thing. Nothing I can do. Kick back and puff that thing like it just dont matter.
Im a walking bottle, pipe bomb collection these days. I've gone so far as to lick the little bottle when the batteries wont work, instead of firing up. No I'm a vaper now, done deal, I like it. So I got to deal with my own adjustments.
I'd rather live with a happy smoker, than a miserable "gotta quit" smoker. The difference as near as I can tell is this really appeals to me, but not to her.

Thanks for all the advice everyone. We just got some more juice in and some new LR attys she spent all day yesterday dripping (day off) and we're going on vacation next week so i'm hoping a nice stress free week will be just what she needs to put those cancer sticks down once and for all. As far as buying mods i really want to but we can only afford to spend about $120 a month on vaping and have to spend all that stcoking up on attys and finding the right juice to stock up on then we'll get her whatever mod her heart desires. Thanks again guys.
