We live in country where so few even excercise their right to vote. We also live in a country where few people truly object to injustices, only until it affects them personally.

Having said such, I do hope since this will affect many "personally" that they will get involved and not just count on everyone else to do it for them.

We live in a country where few even excercise, never mind vote. Then when the government and the rabid Campaign for Fat Free Kids starts to count their calories for them and the government starts regulating McDonalds, maybe people will start getting off their a$$es and do something about it.

Until then, we live in the Nanny state where we have government and groups telling us what to do like we're not even f*cking adults that can make up our own minds. Same thing happened in Nazi Germany before WWII if memory serves me right.

Oooh, I would love to throw a few. This is so outrageous, don't people really get it, that slanted and biased anything is ruining this country. But when people's lives are affected to the max on opinions and judgements made on narrow and doomed planned failure, it is time to get involved in some way. I don't have money, but have a lot of disdain for corrupted governmental oversight, not for our protection but the benefit of something else. Usually involving vast sums of money and influence and self-preservation.

Zofryer - I understand tempers are running hot, and you are more than entitled to your opinion, but then again, so am I, and here it comes:


This is not the time to have this arguement. This is NOT the time to point fingers and whine that "someone else didn't take care of my problem." This is the time to ACT. There is POWER in numbers, in individual bodies, individual voices all raised shouting the SAME message.

Don't splinter the group - don't turn this into a back-biting fest, where the only one who ends up the winner is the gad dam FDA. They're turning up the heat, hoping we fold.....DON'T LET THEM DO IT!

Agreed, we need to organize. A march on Washington would be a great idea - so let's start working it, people, and stop sitting in the dark corners all alone, letting them in power continue to winnow away at our freedoms.
