Well if the FDA is gearing up for a fight I say its about time we do the same? Perhaps a little organization of some sorts would help the cause... Something on par with NORML but for e-cigs...

Well, I'm with Bones, I figure we could make good a day of it...long as they don't have too many tanks, diesel fuel exhaust kinda makes me sick..

It's also something sad to keep in mind - "Tank Man" was promptly shot in the head :(

We must take care not to provoke that sort of thing - I love my e-cig and I will fight - Just not ready to die for it -
That would defeat the purpose of using it - :)

    All up in your grill..
I am on the front line fighting this by altering the public's perception one person at a time hundreds of times every day. Then when I get home from work my girl feels neglected because of the dozens of phone calls I receive. I am working on this 7 days a week around 11-12 hours a day. I wish I could say I had high hopes....

I so agree with you on that!!!! I have people tell me I'm a mean mother because I give my kids chores to do(If they don't do the chore they don't get any extras), my friends and family not all of them but alot don't expect their kids to do anything!!

Don't listen to these friends and family that tell you this! What you're doing is instilling a sense of responsibility that will pay dividends down the road! This is one of the hardest and most loving things you can do as a mother. Kids raised with a sense of responsibility are the ones that everyone else envy when they rapidly climb the latter of success in life.

To be honest...at this point I'm not sure if I would "fight" it, so to speak. By the time they do make it illegal I plan to have enough parts to last 4-5 months and enough juice to cut the nicotine gradually to nothing and then quit. I love vaping, but my original intention was to quit smoking and I've done that. Although I've gotten a bit wrapped up in this whole culture and I'll be sad to see people losing this if only as an opportunity for what is finally an effective NRT.

The US government has no right to tell us what to do, unless we give them that right. A government agency can ALWAYS be fought. There's a wonderful document called the Constitution of the United States of America that guarantees it--and it is the supreme law in this country. It is the embodiment of all the ideals on which this nation was founded, and no one can be allowed to undermine it.

The is the Constitution as the government sees it today:

I was going to quote william wallace in braveheart, but I only saw it once so my memory fails me.

I would like to propose a million man march on washington instead of local vaper clubs..............even if we had to prepare it 2-3 months in advance

local vaper clubs are good but 30-100 people have much more difficulty marching their own capital......unless you stop by the local homeless shelter and offer.......big mac's
We dont have a million vapers, but I tell you this. I get around a lot, and people are visibly more and more ...... on the overall gov't picture. If we can somehow package the vaping ban issue into a larger issue that many more people have (*cough tobacco, or something), I think a march on washington is going to happen soon anyways if things dont change and would love to see one. It has to be a peaceful one or things would get much much worse. My 2 cents and a dollar.

Agreed, we need to organize. A march on Washington would be a great idea - so let's start working it, people, and stop sitting in the dark corners all alone, letting them in power continue to winnow away at our freedoms.

    I'm ready...

Can’t we put our cents together and put ads on the internet, sites like yahoo or something, maybe a TV ad. There are enough of us out here to tell the politicians, the FDA and the rest of the American people about the benefits of e-smoking. Maybe if every one would donate say a dollar. Have a company like Johnson creek be the treasurers, they have everything to loose. What’s the worst that can happen is you’re out a dollar, or even worse no more e-smoking. Then have a vote on where to spend the money. Heck this forum could be used for voting purposes, have them working together. Maybe have an article in the news section on yahoo.com. Places where young kids wouldn’t normally go.

I printed some articles out today, telling the truth about our e-cigs and posted them at 6 store bulletin boards. Lets fight.

Here we go right here ladies and gentlemen. I've been thinking for a while about how i could help how we could all help. I'm just 1 poor man that can't make it to D.C. to do a march which would only make me feel like a powerless moronic hippy in the first place. This i could do, This we could all do. Tee217 please give me a link to these articles i'm going to warm my printer now i'll cover denver colorado from top to bottom. I hope many will follow my suit.

I'm a "yes" but might have been better labeled as a "maybe". I'll fight anyway I can but buying a 2,000 dollar plane ticket to attend a rally in the states isn't going to happen. I'll lobby, recruit, propagate, proliferate, whatever to make sure e-cigarettes are accepted as the life saving devices they are, but I'll have to do it from my post on the outskirts of western civilization.
