Kanthal twisted maybe 2mm prebuilt. Not built any coils yet. Have not gotten a coil kit or material yet still using the prebuilt pack for now.

I like to build my own coils and I have tried a variety of materials and methods. I prefer Kanthal A1 round wires 24ga to 26ga and anywhere between 2mm to 4mm inner diameter. I, however, love clapton wires and have only used Kanthal A1 28ga x 2 + 32ga between 2.5mm to 4.5mm inner diameter.

Build all coils myself (even for the Ego Ones), wire is most of the times Kanthal and with TC I use SS316L. Wire is most of the times 24 or 26 AWG, but in the Griffin I only use Clapton builds.

The top fill part, something else instead of the gasket now used to keep the top part in place. Maybe some sort of locking mechanism.
