Welcome Onawa,there are a few of us here in Winnipeg,I have met a few.
You are going from 1 pad to 0 nic? Wow! Hope you make it, really do, good luck to you.
I'm 6 mths smoke free from almost 2 pad for 38 years and I'm still liking my 24 mg.I have thought about dropping the nic a bit but I just don't get that throat hit from anything lower.
You are right,these things work well, they are a life saver......after a couple days on this I never looked back

So far so good,

Honestly it's easier the I thought it would be. Once the nic is out of the body, it's the psychological addiction that's always tripped me up. Being able to 'smoke' every time the craving hits - as much as I want - that is helping SO SO much.

Mind you, I am vaping practically non-stop!!

Hope to meet you for a vape one day, and congrats on staying away from icky analogs for 6 months!!!
