Winter mod

I love my saber touch. But now I am spoiled and have been thinking I am going to need a simular mod that I can turn on with a gloved hand. I am also pretty sure at one point or another it may get dropped in the snow.

My requirements:

uses 18650 batts for all day 3.7 vape

510 or 808D setup I dont want to jack with adapters anymore and I have supplies for both of these.

Durable and at least "water resistant"

Yes I am asking this in June. But if I find one I like it gives me time to watch for deals classified's ect.

Of course I dont want to needlessly spend money. But major factor will be durrability

Also for those of you who have vaped in the freezing temps. If I have overlooked a winter failure mode let me know.

Bssage...you need a 12-step program...you are a vape-a-holic! And being very prepared looking for a winter substitute early. I usually don't wear gloves as I tend to hibernate and spend as little time in the elements as possible...including starting my truck from my balcony so it's warm when I get to it (I know, I'm spoiled)

But the dam kids like to sled and crap like that. I know its selfish of them not to consider me.

Also I like to snowball car's (did I say that aloud).. I mean I like to be outside away from the boss(wife) as much as possible (again aloud). The police have a hard time catching me when the roads are slick and I hide in the woods (shht).

With all that in mind. I need to steal my next mod yes steal. And if I know what I want to steal in advance I can better stalk my prey.

Really its the kids fault.


And I think I could show the 12 step vaping program a 13th step.

And I love the remote starter clicking it from the window of the bar while I vape heheheheh

Have you considered a juice box? Basically you just squeeze to drip onto the atty and the buttons big enough you could do it with gloves on...look at the Mr Puffer or some of the other juice box mods.

GGTS.

Button's small, but easy to push with gloves on. Or oven mitts.

The GGTS's all mechanical, so dropping it in the snow won't mess up any electronics (apart from, possibly the battery and atty).

The GGTS may seem expensive, but since it'll take any battery or atty, it's worth a whole bunch of other mods. Just like e-cigs ended my buying analogs, the GGTS ended my buying other mods.

The Silver Bullet's another good choice. It's solid and sealed, no way snow's getting in there, and the button's large. I wouldn't submerge it in water, but it should easily stand up to a bit of snow.

I know nothing of touch switches' internals, but there are gloves for people that use devices that have a capacitive touch screen, like an iphone. May work here, I have no idea.

Two suggestions:

1. The $120 Tekk Mod by chev327fox, described (make that raved about) here by WhatAClumsyGirl. Nice big button and it's black, so if you do drop it in the snow, you'll be able to find it easily. It's the only device I know of, which uses the 18650 battery (two of them actually) and is 5V.

Chev's Tekk Mod has the added advantage in winter for the woman in your life: if she is anything like WhatAClumsyGirl, she'll melt when she sees it. See truelove's loving presentation:
