Winter Storm

"We all gonna die!"

OK, no, it's just a winter storm, we'll be fine and I'm only in the six to twelve inch band anyway.

However, given our performance locally during Sandy, I've also whipped up 250 ml of home-brew liquid (menthol cinnamon with a touch of chocolate, 18 mg/ml). I've charged every unit (7), each battery for mods (2), and each cig-alike just in case all heck breaks loose (7).

I'll keep recharging through the day tomorrow just in case.

Oh, yeah, I guess I should get food, too. :)

If we lose power, let me know. I have the AC Adapter for the truck, and the generator big enough to run the whole house ready to go. The world may be coming to an end, but there will be a vape cloud over the LV.

I'm also ready; I have a USB charger in my car that hooks to the cigarette lighter adapter (I refer to it as the Vapor Adapter now).

I also have a robotic mower that takes 20 Ah 24 volt batteries. A little finagling moves those into parallel into series and I have two 40 Ah 12 volt batteries.

I also have a 400 watt inverter that clamps quite nicely to those reconfigured batteries.

Oh, yeah, it can also run a light or two and the radio and a small TV. But the vape's way more important.

Lol. As a Minnesotan I'm getting a big chuckle out of this. The media is making a little snowfall seem like hurrican Katrina.

For us, this practically IS...well, at least Hurricane Sandy. Our township's already shut down for the weekend, most schools just closed rather than deal with it, local government doesn't exist for the next seventy two hours.

Police and hospitals will be fine. But heaven forbid you should need a building permit.

It's never snowed here before ever. Never in the forty-cough years I've lived here.

Never. :)

Well, we don't often get 6 to 16 (the forecast just went up). We probably won't this time, either. Generally if you divide the forecast by two it's more accurate.

Your inland...and you have those GIANT mountains (Del Water Gap- and that bunny hill ski area) to shield you !
Maybe- they will turn Dorney Park into a four season resort !:p

Vape On !

Food would be good, but keep up the charging just in case... :)

We're up in the 2 ft area as well.. Everything is closed up here except for the Army post which figures cuz that means my poor fiance has to go to work and will probably get stranded out there for the night.. I'm making sure to send him to work with all his stuff + chargers and whatnot.. I have all my backups and backups of backups charged so I should be good :)

Edit: Never mind.. The Army post just called it.. Fiance gets to stay home yay! :D

Don't forget water, guys.
You should have 1 gal/person/day of water available WTSHTF. Vapers, of course, probably should have more. LOL

While the snow can certainly be a serious issue for some folks, I will be checking on my elderly neighbors before and after the storm. Fire up the snowblower! Beef Stew slow cooking on the woodstove. 3 freshly steeped diy flavors coming of age and about 10 diff. pv's charged up. Our four year old is all fired up and cant wait to dive into a big pile of snow. Kind of need a good Nor easter snow storm once in a while to remind us what New England Winters can be like.

Be Safe!!
