Exactly as madstabber explained. Very good humor so disagreeing with your apology. Took me a few seconds so I'm sure it was a 'whoosh' for some.
I use ss316l at 26AWG running at 1.8ohms mtl
While that looks interesting, it also looks like the areas of the outer wire that are not in contact with an inner coil would be dry and add some harshness to the vape.
So here's a novice's thoughts on vaping wire. Bought an atomizer at a local shop and they sold me 24 ga ss316 to go with it. When I came home and checked out Steam Engine, I decided it required too much power so I switched to 26 ga. Now, vaping while looking at Steam Engine, I've come to the conclusion that a flux of 190 mw/mm is just about the point when caramelization occurs so, I'm doing 7 wraps, 3mm id of 26 ga. I'm also assuming that more wraps equals more vape / flavor so, I've ordered some 28 ga and intend to go to 9 wraps, 3mm id. We'll see.

In hindsight instead of giving your initial post a Creative, leftyandsparky's an Optimistic and your apology a Disagree. (All within one minute) I should have posted something like below. But it was late and I was too tired to GIS and crop images.
I actually thread thin bits of cotton all the way through it and comb them together each end, vapes beautifully and good flavors. Needs at least 20w and ramp up is a little slow, but mtl was nice still
