We got what was expected from the zealots, but the worst part was the testimony from Dura e-cigs (or whatever their name is). This is the person who was indifferent about banning online sales and looked forward to FDA regulation. What manufactures like this are pushing is for the standard mode for tobacco. That is government and industry in cahoots, with consumers taking whatever is left over and having no voice. In the end this likely means cig-a-likes with pre-filled carts. They want to be the next Phillip Morris while paying lip service to helping people.

Maybe all vapors should avoid buying from Dura ecigs. I have never even heard of them.

I'm from WI. I have tracked that brand to American e-liquid store in Wauwatosa, WI. They suck!

Is this just a procedural thing? Hard to decipher these things at times.

In other years when the session is almost complete, bills that have come out of committee but not made it for a floor vote are considered in separate, grouped together resolutions. I'm guessing that they put all the bills that hadn't made it to the floor that they wanted defeated into Resolution 1. Voted on all at once so that they all failed for the year. Others that had large support would have gone into another Resolution to be passed as a group.

A bunch of WI bills died yesterday, including the two bills that would have truthfully acknowledged that WI's smoking ban doesn't apply to e-cigs, and the bill that would have increased OTP taxes in WI.
